Hunter Biden’s Shady Business Activities Concerning China – What was Hunter Biden doing with China? That’s what Republican lawmakers are trying to discover as they have already started their investigation into the president’s son who has become such a troublesome sideshow to Joe Biden.
Now, even more family members could be ensnared in the Biden China scandal. The GOP investigators are hot on the trail, but it remains to be seen if ordinary Americans are paying attention to Hunter and his family’s business dealings.
What Is at Stake?
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer has asked, “The Biden family has taken in millions and millions of dollars from our adversaries, mainly in China, and I think we need to determine, what was that money for?”
Comer has claimed to have found mysterious and lucrative payments from Chinese business entities to Hunter and his relatives – perhaps even the president himself. Millions have been sent to Biden family members over the years, allegedly from a Chinese energy company, Comer said. Before that payment was made, Comer believes that several million dollars was originally wired to the Chinese firm and then installments were allegedly dispersed to Biden’s relatives.
It’s not just Hunter in the committee’s crosshairs. Republicans believe that the late Beau Biden’s wife Hallie also received money under this suspected scheme.
During the time of the money transfer Hallie was working as a school counselor. Hallie allegedly received $35,000 from two transfers in 2017, Comer’s committee found.
The funds were sent to the Bidens in 2017, right after the elder Biden left office as the vice president after Barack Obama’s second term ended.
Follow the Money
The New York Post reported March 16 that “Hunter Biden and first brother James Biden earned at least $4.8 million from CEFC China Energy, a since-defunct cog in Beijing’s ‘Belt and Road’ foreign influence campaign, in 2017 and 2018, according to prior reporting on Hunter’s abandoned laptop.”
Hunter is under federal investigation by the US attorney’s office in Delaware for alleged tax fraud, illegal foreign lobbying, and other potentially illegal activity. The younger Biden has maintained his innocence on these charges that could be forthcoming this year.
Hunter Biden: What Do the Banks Reveal?
Comer’s investigators are also looking into suspicious bank activity reports that Hunter may have been involved in. In addition to China, Hunter may have received payments from other countries such as Russia and Ukraine, the oversight committee believes.
Comer has finally received the suspicious activity reports from the Department of the Treasury.
“After two months of dragging their feet, the Treasury Department is finally providing us with access to the suspicious activity reports for the Biden family and their associates’ business transactions,” the chairman said.
What Happens Now?
These findings appear serious, but it is difficult to determine how closely the American people are paying attention to this scandal and whether it will affect President Biden politically.
The feelings about Hunter seem to be already baked into the cake. Republicans think he is guilty of multiple offenses, while Democrats feel this is all much ado about nothing and that the laptop is old news. That means Independents will be a large voting bloc to convince that the Bidens are guilty in the court of public opinion.
Republicans are right to follow the evidence and facts as they emerge. The latest revelation that Hallie Biden may have accepted payments is suspicious. She appears to have no business experience or role in the scheme, so how did she earn payment? Bank records do not lie, and prosecutors often have little trouble convincing juries of their authenticity.
As this investigation continues, the Biden family may want to meet and get their stories straight with their attorneys.

The entire Biden cabal has been compromised by Chinese money.
Everyone knows china headed by xi jinping has bribed and corrupted everybody traveling the international super highway of kickbacks and bribes and dirty money.
Time for Congress and comer to (have US Supreme Court) issue arrest warrants for Biden family and xi jinping.
All of them are well & truly corrupted to high heaven.

Democrats ARE CONCERNED about what is going on with Hunter, Joe and the other family members who may have received monies from China or other nations, such as Russia. If these allegations are proved to be true DON’T expect votes to be cast for Joe. And quit trying to manipulate us by drawing conclusions. This isn’t a done deal.
