Hunter Biden Is Now Squaring Off Against Marjorie Taylor Greene: Hunter Biden, who has been the target of a federal investigation into his alleged tax wrongdoings and for lying on a government gun ownership form, is now fighting back against his accusers.

In Hunter’s sights is Marjorie Taylor Greene. Hunter’s lawyers filed an ethics complaint on April 23 against the Georgia congresswoman for lying about Hunter’s lifestyle.
The accusations against Greene center on what Hunter’s legal team believes are over-the-top and untrue insults and that she has engaged in against President Joe Biden’s son, such as him engaging in human trafficking and associating with prostitutes.
Hunter Biden Fights Back: What Does the Complaint Say?
Hunter’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, filed a letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics. “Representative Greene’s unethical conduct arises from her continuous verbal attacks, defamatory statements, publication of personal photos and data, and promotion of conspiracy theories about and against Robert Hunter Biden. None of these could possibly be deemed to be part of any legitimate legislative activity, as is clear from both the content of her statements and actions, and the forums she uses to spew her often unhinged rhetoric,” he wrote.

Greene has insinuated in social media posts and videos that Hunter is part of an “Eastern prostitution and human trafficking ring.”
The Georgia bomb thrower has accused him of using crack cocaine with prostitutes while driving in a car.
Hunter’s legal advisor thinks that these statements and posts from Greene are “false, defamatory, and malicious.”
It’s About Her Lack of Ethics
Hunter Biden hopes that the independent, non-partisan Office of Congressional Ethics will investigate and determine that untruths from Greene will spark a wider probe and actions against her from the House Ethics Committee. Hunter Biden is a private citizen, and Members of Congress are not allowed to lie about people on official government channels.
Greene is known for her controversial statements in public or on social media, such as Jewish space lasers had started a forest fire, and school shootings were falsely mocked up and staged as a way to attack gun ownership.
But the Fight Against Greene Won’t Help His Broader Defense Against Federal Authorities
Hunter’s new legal strategy of going on the offense is curious.
His actions against Greene are an example of a nuisance complaint and not likely to change his legal status versus federal investigators.
He could still get indicted even if Greene became embroiled in her own ethics investigation by Congress.
Hunter Biden is not likely to get any Republicans on the ethics committee to support his accusations. Greene herself would say that she has freedom to discuss Hunter as part of her First Amendment rights and that her statements have some basis because of what Hunter said in his memoir about his drug use and his extra-marital relations with women.
Of course, Greene is taking things to extremes which fits her character, but she will likely get away with it without serious repercussions.
The younger Biden may get some satisfaction by bringing the fight to Republicans, but he still must defend himself from the more serious accusations that the federal probe is unearthing against him. Indictments could come soon and filing ethics complaints against GOP lawmakers who have nothing to do with the federal investigation is a hail mary legal strategy.
Greene, on the other hand, may want to cool it with seemingly endless derogatory and potentially defamatory statements against Hunter. She never seems to learn her lesson when addressing the public with her over-heated comments. But she relishes the pugilistic combat in the public domain and the Bidens are her number one enemy.
We will probably see more of the Hunter Biden – Greene war of words, despite Hunter’s new penchant for filing complaints against his adversaries who are irrelevant to the central question of his innocence or guilt concerning his tax and business activities.
