The Democrats ‘Secret Plan’ to Make Kamala Harris President

Political observers are beginning to question whether ulterior motives are behind the Democrats’s promotion of a Biden-Harris ticket for the 2024 election campaign.

Maybe, the goal isn’t necessarily to re-elect President Biden. But rather, maybe the goal is to “install” Vice President Kamala Harris as the new president.

A vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris

As the thinking goes, Democrats may be using Biden as a trojan horse for a Harris presidency.

The simple fact is that Biden is already 80-years-old. A second term would put Biden in office beyond his 86th birthday. He’s already, seemingly, in cognitive decline. He looks frail. Most people have trouble believing that Biden has another five and a half years of public service in him.

So naturally, Biden’s decision to run for a second term was met with some skepticism. Voters expressed concern over whether Biden was physically or mentally fit enough to do the job for another half-decade given that he is already slowed down to the point where he can’t work in the mornings, at nights, or on the weekends. Voters asked very practical questions, like, how is Biden, if elected, possibly going to fulfill his commitment of a second term?

But as pundits are beginning to suggest, maybe Biden finishing out a second term isn’t even the goal. Maybe it’s putting Kamala Harris into office, while allowing her to bypass the primary and bypass the general election where the presidential-level scrutiny might weaken her already shaky appeal.

Remember that Harris ran for president in 2020. She finished with polling in the low single digits and concluded her campaign notably early – in December of 2019 – despite entering the race with all sorts of fanfare. The truth is that she ran a poor campaign, with poor messaging, and she failed to differentiate herself from a crowded Democratic field, and nobody cared, and she faded quietly into the night.

So the Democrats are likely wary about another Kamala Harris presidential campaign, having seen how poorly she executed the first time around.

Comfortable with Kamala

“A Suffolk University/USA Today poll released Tuesday cited 86% of Democratic Biden voters who said they are either very or somewhat comfortable with Harris becoming president in place of Biden if the duo is re-elected for another four years and Biden becomes unable to serve the full term,” Fox News reported.

The poll, indicating that Democratic voters are comfortable with the premise of a Kamala Harris presidency, stands in stark contrast to Harris’s approval ratings, which have consistently sat below 40%.

“The DNC’s strategy to ensure the Democratic establishment remains in power is to re-elect Joe Biden, no matter how old or capable he is, and then get him to resign or step aside and install Kamala Harris as president,” said former Representative Tulsi Gabbard. “She will be untested and unelected, and ready to act as the Democratic Establishment’s puppet president. She will then have the advantage and power of incumbency to run in 2028.”

Gabbard continued: “None of this is possible if Biden doesn’t run. If Kamala were to try to run for president herself, there would be heavy competition and no way she would win. This is why they are united around Joe Biden’s re-election – to ensure Kamala Harris is able to assume the throne unchallenged.”

Well, it’s possible. I certainly hope the Democrats aren’t investing the future of the party into a term-limited octogenarian.

But I’m not fond of Kamala Harris and I do not like the idea of allowing her to bypass a contested primary where ideas and personalities and biographies are all tested under the scrutiny of the American public – an environment where Harris is unlikely to succeed.
