Joe Biden Is Really Starting to Scare Everyone

President Joe Biden’s mental fitness continues to be a question. The 80-year-old president often seems confused and out of touch.

In the president’s most recent feat, he managed to slaughter his 2020 campaign slogan “Build Back Better” by calling it “Build Back Biden” during a speech held at an event sponsored by the League of Conservation Voters.

In his next moment of brilliance, Biden opined, “We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean. We have plans to build in Angola – One of the largest solar plants in the world. I could go on but I’m going off-script and I’m going to get in trouble.”

The White House minimized the president’s misstatements.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro joked on Twitter while making fun of Biden’s age, “He does remember Pangea so.”

Biden Aloofness Part of a Pattern

Last month, Biden appeared confused when he told reporters that he had a major press conference that afternoon when he actually had an interview.

“We’ve got a lot of work to do and I’m doing a major press conference this afternoon, but I love y’all but I’d like to ask you to leave so we can get down to business,” Biden said.

Another Biden embarrassment took place when the president attended an event in September and asked where Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski was. Walorski was killed in a car crash last August.

“I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like Representative [Jim] McGovern, Senator [Mike] Braun, Senator [Cory] Booker, Representative Jackie — are you here? Where’s Jackie? — I think she was going to be here,” the president said.

Biden’s office gave a letter of condolences following her death the month before.

One of Biden’s more embarrassing quotes took place during the 2008 election when he told a wheelchair-bound, quadriplegic Missouri Democratic State Sen. Chuck Graham to stand up.

“I’m told Chuck Graham, state senator, is here. Stand up Chuck, let ‘em see you. Oh, God love you. What am I talking about?” Biden said.

Democrats Concerned About Biden’s Age

Democrats are openly saying they are just going to have to cope with Biden’s age during the 2024 campaign.

“Well, I think we’d certainly ― I think everybody would certainly like a younger Joe Biden,” Sen. Sheldon  Whitehouse told The Daily Mail. “I think the people are concerned about an 80-year-old president. And I think that’s an issue that President Biden is going to have to deal with on the campaign … can’t go away.”

Polling numbers show that 40% of Democrats do not want Biden to run again.

Whitehouse noted that most Democrats do not believe there is “a real alternative on the horizon for him.”

Democrats believe that Biden had the experience and credibility needed to lead their party.

“Having the wisdom and judgment and the patience and prudence and the knowledge of how the system works to deliver for the American people, to produce the infrastructure bill, to produce the exit from COVID, to put the first major piece of climate legislation forward, to watch construction ― manufacturing construction, factory building, going through the roof in America right now, that’s a pretty good story to tell, that he’s a actually wise and able person to lead us,” Whitehouse said.
