Make Putin Cry: Ukraine Footage Shows Russian Tank Getting ‘Annihilated’ By Mines

As Ukraine continues to make gains in Bakhmut, Russian forces are now down at least one T-62M tank. A video released by the Ukrainian military shows how Russian troops drove over clearly visible anti-tank mines left on a road near Bakhmut.

While Russian forces have already laid claim to the city of Bakhmut, the fighting hasn’t stopped.

In fact, Ukrainian forces are inching forward once again, with the intent of taking back the city and making significant striges in their newly-launched counteroffensive.

After Wagner’s attempted revolt against the Kremlin – an attempted coup that definitely also wasn’t an attempted coup – Ukrainian forces see an opportunity to reclaim the city for themselves.

According to military officer Denys Yaroslavskyi, Ukrainian troops have already regain control of Klishchiyivka, a village located south of the city. As of June 29, Yaroslavskyi, Ukrainain forces have full control of the settlement and will soon be launching an offensive from the territory in the northward direction.

Yaroslavskyi also said that Ukraine’s 57th Brigade is seeing some success in the north of the city, with Russian forces weakened by the withdrawal of Wagner troops from the battlefield.

The Ukrainian military official said that Bakhmut is “visible as in the palm of your hand” from the territory, and also from Berkhivka in the north.

The reports of Ukrainian successes were also backed by comments from Ukrainian Defense Minister Hanna Malyar, who said that Ukrainian troops are not only on the offensive in Bakhmut, but also in Melitopol and Berdyansk.

“The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported in the morning that in the East, in the direction of Klishchiivka, it was possible to advance 1,200 m, and near Kurdyumivka – 1,500 m. In the Berdyansk direction – 1,300 m,” Radio Liberty reported.

Russian Tank Taken Out Near Bakhmut

As Ukraine continues to make gains in Bakhmut, Russian forces are now down at least one T-62M tank. A video released by the Ukrainian military shows how Russian troops drove over clearly visible anti-tank mines left on a road near Bakhmut.

The clip, which was reposted to Twitter by Ukraine Weapons Tracker, shows the tank speeding down a road and driving over the mines – almost as if they weren’t there.

As the tank reaches the mines, the vehicle explodes and suffers extreme damage. Not only does the vehicle lose its tracks, but its armor is heavily damaged, too.

Incredibly, however, the crew appears to have survived the blast.

In the footage, crew members can be seen escaping the tank and assessing the damage.

“A Russian T-62M tank drove over a quite obvious row of TM-62 anti-tank mines near Bakhmut, #Donetsk Oblast. Appears that all the crew survived, although they probably had quite a bad day,” Ukraine Weapons Tracker writes.

The video could be considered graphic, so we will not embed it. However, you watch the video at this link
