Joe Biden Can’t Run From His Hunter Biden Problems

it increasingly looks like Joe Biden’s claims to have known nothing about his familial corruption do not hold water.

Allegations his family members have profited from his name, high government post, and connections keep following President Joe Biden. His response has been to ignore and deny

Reporters confronted Biden about claims by Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee that a total of nine members of Biden’s family had profited from his office.

Last month, Biden claimed that bank records showing that his son Hunter, brother James Biden, and daughter-in-law Hallie Biden had received a total of $1,065,000 million from State HK Energy, a subsidiary of the Chinese military intelligence linked CEFC Energy, were false.

“That’s not true,” the president said last month when asked by reporters.

In Denial

The New York Post questioned the president at the White House following a Rose Garden event and walked into his office.

“President Biden, is it true that nine members of your family got millions from places like China?” The New York Post asked. “President Biden, did nine members of your family get millions from places like China? Is that allegation true, President Biden? Is it true, what House Republicans are saying?”

Biden ignored the reporter and continued walking.

“The Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family,” House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer, R-Ky, said in a statement. “We’ve identified six additional members of Joe Biden’s family who may have benefited from the Biden family’s businesses that we are investigating, bringing the total number of those involved or benefiting to nine.”

Committee member Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., similarly posted on social media that she had viewed Treasury Department Suspicious Activity Reports and was disturbed by her findings.

“There were over 100 Suspicious Activity Reports on the Biden family, and I have to tell you there are more Bidens involved than we knew previously and every time you overturn or look under a stone there’s so much more you have to investigate,” Mace said. “It’s wild the numbers of family members involved, and even the amount of money that we’re talking about in these Suspicious Activity Reports is astronomical.”

Joe Biden has repeatedly denied having personal connections or involvement with his family’s businesses. During the 2020 debates with former President Donald Trump, Biden claimed the laptop showing his familial corruption was Russian disinformation, citing the false claims of 51 former intelligence leaders.

Hunter Biden’s business associate, Tony Bobulinski, identified the president as “The Big Guy.” A May 2017 email when he noted that “The Big Guy” would receive 10 percent from a prospective deal with CEFC Energy.

Other messages from Hunter Biden’s laptop stated that Joe Biden assisted with making contacts with Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim. Hunter Biden’s business partner Jeff Cooper rode aboard Air Force Two in 2016 with Hunter and the then-vice president.

Cooper helped organize meetings for his clients, Miguel Alemán Velasco and his son Miguel Alemán Magnani, with Joe Biden. The Alemáns founded the Mexican budget airline Interjet. Hunter helped connect them with the Obama White House.

A February 2014 email shows that Hunter Biden worked to set up a lunch meeting with Joe Biden for the Alemáns, who had an interest in meeting U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx. Aleman’s son, Miguel Aleman Magnani, hosted the Bidens at his Acapulco villa.

A photo in Hunter Biden’s laptop showed Joe Biden posing with four of Hunter Biden’s business associates, Slim, and Mexican billionaire and Interjet owner Miguel Alemán Velasco at the vice presidential residence in November 2015.

The Bidens hoped to get Slim, then the world’s richest man, to support a deal they had planned with the Mexican state oil company PEMEX.

Hunter Biden also had hoped to connect Burisma, where he earned $50,000 per month as a board member, with PEMEX. Democrats impeached Trump for pressuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Biden’s place on the Burisma board.

On another occasion, Joe Biden dined with Burisma’s number three executive Vadym Pozharskyi and three Kazakh businessmen at the exclusive Café Milano in Georgetown. Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina attended the dinner as well along with her husband former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

She has avoided having been sanctioned in the wake of the invasion of Ukraine, the New York Post reported. Luzhkov, who died in 2019, was a close ally of Vladimir Putin’s, who The Guardian reported sat atop “a  ‘pyramid of corruption’ involving the Kremlin, Russia’s police force, its security service, political parties, and crime groups.”

Baturina allegedly paid Hunter Biden $3.5 million.

Pozharskyi also had a connection to Biden’s Mexican dealings, the emails show.

“By way of this email I am introducing you to Jeff Cooper. Jeff works with Miguel Aleman, our potential partner in Mexico as it relates to the PEMEX upstream privatization opportunities at hand. Jeff will guide us through the process of gaining access to the dataroom provided by PEMEX,” Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer wrote in a Feb. 2015 email to Pozharskyi. “The cost for access which will be due directly to PEMEX is between US$300-400K dependent on data set. Let’s set up a call over the weekend to discuss … Please let me know you availability so we may begin the process. Thanks.”

And on top of these meetings, there’s the fact that Hunter Biden’s business partners made at least 80 visits to the White House while Joe Biden was president and met with him on occasion.

Consequently, it increasingly looks like Joe Biden’s claims to have known nothing about his familial corruption do not hold water.
