Hunter Biden is seemingly trying to lay low following further scrutiny of his affairs by the House Oversight Committee.

Biden, 53, was spotted in sunglasses and a camouflage near Robert De Niro’s Nobu restaurant in Malibu on Thursday last week.

It comes after revelations that the FBI knew his now-infamous laptop was not a Russian operative despite repeated “no comment” claims to social media companies, implying that it was the product of a “hack-and-dump” operation instead.

The President’s only living son has kept a low-profile in recent weeks amid an ongoing investigation by Congress, which could have a huge impact on U.S politics ahead of next year’s elections.

Here’s What Hunter Biden Is Facing

The Biden laptop controversy began in October 2020 when the New York Post published an article regarding incriminating data on his hard drive.

In the heat of a hard-fought election campaign, many mainstream media outlets questioned the validity of the story suspecting it to be part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

The FBI repeatedly made “no comment” on the story, while social media giants Facebook and Twitter began to restrict distribution of links related to the controversy.

Fast forward to 2023, and the Republican-led House of Representatives began a formal investigation through the House Oversight Committee.

Former President Trump has long alleged that the 53-year-old is guilty of widespread corruption in relation foreign business dealings in China and Ukraine, forcing President Biden to repeatedly come to his son’s defense.

The investigation has led to further information being released, including a 2020 memo by senior IRS Criminal Investigator Gary Shapley which directly contradicted an open letter by former intelligence officials who dismissed the laptop as “a Russian information operation.”

Shapley, along with fellow whistlebelower Joseph Ziegler, claim they are yet to receive all the data on the hard drive, which could incriminate the Bidens even further.

Biden Jr has had a rough ride so far this year; in June, he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor tax crimes along with illegally possessing a gun while under the influence of drugs.

In the same month, Hunter settled a child support case with an Arkansas mother. Despite a DNA test in 2020 confirming he is the father, the President has continued to deny any connection to his 7th grandchild.

Biden’s Lawyer Rips A Bong

It seems Biden’s lawyer has high hopes for his client, perhaps in more ways than one.

On the same day as Biden’s trip to Nobu, attorney Kevin Morris was spotted smoking a bong on the balcony of his Malibu home while Hunter was visiting.

Recreational marijuana is legal in California, and Hunter Biden was not seen on the balcony with his attorney.

Morris has assumed the role as Biden’s “sugar brother” in recent years, including assisting in Hunter in writing a book, lending him a private jet, and offering $2 million to help pay his first son’s overdue taxes.
