How Democrats Somehow Might ‘Save’ Lauren Boebert

Lauren Boebert barely survived her last election, winning a contested recount over Colorado businessman, Democrat, Adam Frisch, by a mere 546 votes.

Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) is a blithering idiot, regardless of her politics.

She’s such a disaster that she’s in the process of losing her own congressional district, a rural area that includes Rifle, Col., an area where most people are conservative.

But her voters have had enough.

Lauren Boebert is a Mess

Lauren Boebert barely survived her last election, winning a contested recount over Colorado businessman, Democrat, Adam Frisch, by a mere 546 votes.

The Democrats in 2022 had assumed that Colorado’s Third District was solidly red, and they barely threw any resources into Frisch’s upstart campaign.

That is until he appeared to be seriously competitive with Boebert.

Now that Frisch has proven himself to have come within a hairsbreadth of the big prize in Boebert’s district, the Democrats are throwing everything they can behind his next campaign to unseat Boebert.

Things were looking bleak for Rep. Boebert. Not only is the Colorado Republican struggling against Frisch and the Democrats, but back in Congress, she’s even alienated key members of her own party.

Meanwhile, Lauren Boebert’s personal life continues to careen off the rails. Recently, she and her husband filed for divorce. Her son has been involved in a series of controversies—including a car accident in which illicit substances were found in the vehicle by the authorities—that resulted in Boebert using the power of her office to get her wayward son out of trouble.

Yes, things have been looking bad for a woman who was once hailed as a rising star on the Right in Congress just four years ago. And it looked like Adam Frisch was going to be the one to knock Boebert out.

Although, this prospect seems to be changing.

Looking to 2024

There’s a new addition to the forthcoming Democratic Party primary in 2024. The 38-year-old native (and current mayor) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Anna Stout, thinks that she’s the best suited to beat Lauren Boebert.

That means that Adam Frisch will have new competition he must first contend with. A primary fight will detract from Frisch’s objective of knocking Boebert out. The last race he had with Boebert was insanely close.

The next one will also be close.

If there’s a primary fight he must wage, key resources will be squandered fighting Stout. There’s another element here that Anna Stout is missing. Colorado’s Third District is more conservative in temperament. They might not all be Republican voters. But it is a generally rural area and tends to be more oriented toward the Right than the Left.

One reason Frisch did so well against Boebert, despite being a Liberal Democrat, was the fact that he had a successful career in business. That background made him appealing to the more conservative types of voters who populate Colorado’s Third District.

So far, Boebert has no real primary challenger. This means that she will have seemingly limitless resources and time to spend on shoring up her bid for reelection while Frisch and Stout tear each other apart in the Democratic Party primary.

Whoever wins that fight will be facing off against a rested and well-funded Lauren Boebert whereas the Democratic Party primary’s winner will be scrambling to restore their lost money from the vicious primary fight and seeking to rehabilitate their campaign as the General Election begins.

Therefore, Lauren Boebert, despite being so unpopular and having nearly lost to the Democrats in 2022, might be able to slide into another term in office because the Democrats are planning to devour each other. The 2024 Election should be interesting for a variety of reasons. This race will be one of the ones to watch out for.
