Joe Biden Is Now ‘Struggling’ Against Donald Trump

Fox Business host Stuart Varney argues that Democrats see this and are desperate to dump Joe Biden as their party’s standard-bearer because Trump could win amid a depressed voter turnout.

Joe Biden Struggling Against Donald Trump – Joe Biden should be lightyears ahead of Donald Trump in the polls. He has the benefit of incumbency.

Trump is beset by 91 criminal charges, multiple civil lawsuits, and high negatives. Instead, Biden either ties Trump or leads him within the margin of error.

The Real Clear Politics Average gives Biden a .4% advantage at 44.4% compared with 44% for Trump.

The former president has not led Biden since a July 24 poll.

In a pre-Trump world, his legal problems would have been the kiss of death for a major candidate.

A real possibility exists that Trump could find himself campaigning from prison like late fringe Democratic presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche did in the early 1990s.

Varney: Alarm Bells Going Off for Democrats on Joe Biden

Fox Business host Stuart Varney argues that Democrats see this and are desperate to dump Joe Biden as their party’s standard-bearer because Trump could win amid a depressed voter turnout.

Most voters do not want the Trump-Biden rematch that party activists in both parties are intent to deliver. Both candidates hold what looks like a lock on their respective primaries if the polls are to be believed.

“If it’s a Biden-Harris ticket next year, they will lose. I don’t think it will get that far,” Varney said. “Almost on a daily basis, Democrats maneuver to get him out before the end of the year. I’ve never seen anything like this.

Varney continued, “Almost on a daily basis, Democrats maneuver to get him out before the end of the year. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

If voters see the choice being between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum they might just choose to sit this election out. Under that circumstance, Trump stands a chance of eking out a victory against Biden like he did against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“What is clear in most polls is the sorry fact that voters don’t want either candidate to run. An Economist/YouGov poll conducted June 10-13 found 59 percent of voters don’t want Biden to seek reelection, with only 26 percent favoring a run for a second term,” Roll Call columnist David Winston wrote last month. “In the same poll, Trump got similar results — with 56 percent against him running again compared to 33 percent in favor. Independents were against either candidate running again, with 64 percent against Biden and 59 percent against Trump.”

Biden is particularly vulnerable among minority voters who could choose to sit out the 2024 election.

Democrats Scheming to Get Rid of Biden

“Podcast king Joe Rogan thinks Democrats are leaking the bad news on Hunter because they see it as a way to get his dad out of the Oval Office,” Varney said. “Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me, but Rogan has 12 million listeners every day.

Varney continued, “Minnesota Democrat Dean Philips has launched a very public campaign asking the president to step aside. He says Democrats are unwilling to face the truth. That is, Biden can’t win.”
