Republicans Need to Impeach Joe Biden Right Now

That flight coincided with Joe Biden’s now-infamous firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden for corruption.

There’s a photo floating around of then-Vice-President Joe Biden on Air Force Two flying to Ukraine, being briefed by a man who, as it turns out, was intimately involved with Hunter Biden’s various alleged international influence-peddling schemes.

That flight coincided with Joe Biden’s now-infamous firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden for corruption.

After the then-vice-president’s trip to Ukraine, the prosecutor was fired, and the investigation into Hunter Biden’s purported corruption in Ukraine ended.

Devon Archer’s Biden Testimony

Shortly before the photo was made public again, Devon Archer, another close Hunter Biden business associate, made waves by testifying before the Republican-led House Oversight Committee currently investigating the Biden Family for supposed corruption.

In fact, the Biden-led Department of Justice (DOJ) attempted to force Archer, who had been found guilty of fraud in an unrelated case, to show up for his prison sentence the day before Archer was scheduled to testify before Congress—in an apparent attempt to stymie Archer’s testimony.

Representative Dan Goldman (D-CT), who is a leading member of the House Democrats (he was an impeachment manager for the Democratic Party during former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment in 2019), lied about what Devon Archer testified under oath.

His lies about Archer’s closed testimony were picked up by the mainstream media (which is desperate to shield Biden and the Democrats from the kind of scrutiny the Republicans are subjecting them to) and shared as facts by the news media.

Thanks to the House Republicans releasing the unvarnished transcript of Archer’s testimony, we know that Goldman misrepresented the facts of Archer’s sworn statement—and that the media dutifully repeated Goldman’s politicized talking points as objective truth.

What Archer copped to under oath was that, as a founding partner of Rosemont-Seneca Partners, Hunter Biden’s firm, the former vice-president, Joe Biden, called into meetings that Archer and Hunter Biden were having with foreign businesspeople at key moments.

Archer further claimed that the then-vice-president attended several important lunches that Hunter Biden hosted with foreign businesspeople that Rosemont-Seneca was courting.

As Archer would later describe, those phone calls into the meetings by Joe Biden were decisive in helping Hunter Biden’s firm secure lucrative business contracts they’d otherwise have been unable to get.

The Biden Family Benefited

The intensive House Oversight Committee investigation into Hunter Biden has uncovered significant evidence that Hunter Biden’s business—notably his dealings with Chinese state-owned firms—paid gobs of cash to other members of the Biden Family.

While direct linkages between Hunter Biden’s business dealings and Joe Biden’s financial accounts have yet to be discovered, the fact that every other member of the Biden Family was directly financially benefiting from Hunter Biden’s business dealings should tell you the extent of the corruption in the Biden Family.

Due to this, the House Oversight Committee is seeking to subpoena the entire Biden Family and have them testify under oath as to the extent and nature of their relationship with Hunter Biden’s long-running, allegedly sordid international consulting business.

It is clear, according to Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who is leading the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Hunter Biden (and is calling for the entire family to be subpoenaed) that Joe Biden provided material support to the rest of his family. Comer and the committee he leads want to get to the bottom of how much and what was the source of that support.

What’s more, it has also become evident to all but the most rank partisans on the Left that Joe Biden’s family unduly benefited from the Biden Family patriarch sitting atop the highest positions of the US federal government.

Beyond the material support (likely derived from the purportedly illicit practices of Hunter Biden), we know that Hunter Biden has been given a special shielding from legal proceedings since his father became the president.

Shielding Hunter Biden is a Full-Time Government Job

IRS whistleblowers have testified to the House Oversight Committee that their deep probe into Hunter Biden’s finances was sabotaged by prosecutors at the DOJ who feared that any look into Hunter Biden’s finances would force the IRS to seek information about any account connected to Hunter’s—meaning it would likely implicate the man who was, at that time, the incoming president, Joe Biden.

Relatedly, the DOJ attempted to grant Hunter Biden a sweetheart plea deal that the judge presiding over Hunter’s federal tax evasion court case scuttled on her own.

The House Republicans are rightly frustrated by the level of stonewalling that their constitutionally protected investigation has been subjected to by the Biden-controlled executive branch.

It is precisely due to that obstruction of the House investigation by the executive branch’s various law enforcement bodies that Rep. Comer and his fellow Republicans are seeking to haul the Biden Family—the key beneficiaries of Hunter Biden’s allegedly illegal business deals—before Congress to force the Biden Family to come clean.

Let’s Impeach Biden Already

Whether the Republicans can totally prove such nefariousness remains in question.

The House GOP, as led by Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), appears blinkered by the prospect that they will have to do something more than just issue press releases and host campaign fundraisers on the back of the House GOP investigation into Hunter Biden.

Given all the evidence and the buildup of the case against Hunter in the conservative media ecosystem, McCarthy will have to inevitably call for an impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

Everyone knows, though, that the GOP leadership is, as always, out-of-step with the Republican base. Moreover, most understand that if Joe Biden were a Republican facing the same charges that he’s presently facing, the proverbial book would have been thrown at him—and his entire family—by the Democrats. Republicans are the gang that cannot shoot straight; they’re led by tin men armed with flimsy paper weapons.

The case against Joe Biden, by any objective measure, has already risen to the level of an impeachment inquiry. That there is any question about this fact shows you how broken the GOP is—and how painfully corrupt our political system is.
