The Biden Family Is Now Officially in Crisis

Mark my words – by the end of the year, Joe Biden will no longer be running to secure his residency at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Hunter Biden Indicted – Hunter Biden was indicted today on gun charges by special counsel David Weiss who was tasked with investigating the President’s son by Attorney General Merrick Garland after Hunter’s original plea deal fell through back in late July.

Weiss asked to be appointed special counsel last month and Garland agreed it was “in the public interest” to do so, the attorney general said.

Now, Weiss, a Trump-appointed US attorney, has charged Hunter with three crimes: making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm; making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer, and one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

These are the first charges Weiss has brought against the first son since being granted special counsel status. He has declined to comment on his case.

It is also the first time the son of a sitting president has been criminally charged.

Two of the counts carry a maximum prison sentence of 10 years, while the third has a maximum of five years. Each count also carries a maximum fine of $250,000.

White House Reaction

So far, there has been no comment or statement made from the White House and referred requests for comment to the Justice Department and Hunter Biden’s legal team.

Considering the way press secretary Karin Jean Pierre has handled questions about Hunter Biden in the past, the public should expect the usual, “I’m just not going to get into that with you here from this podium,” response to any question Fox reporter Peter Doocy will ask.

Increasing Pressure on Joe Biden

The charges come as Joe Biden faces increasing challenges to his presidency. Earlier this week, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) launched a formal impeachment inquiry into the President regarding his involvement with his son’s overseas business dealings.

House Oversight Committee chair James Comer, R-Ky., who has been investigating the Biden family finances but made no criminal referrals, said he was unimpressed with the new charges, calling it “the least of all the dozen crimes he’s committed.” “I’m still holding out hope that Weiss does the right thing” and pursues additional charges against the president’s son.

The Biden administration is now fending off attacks from all sides as favorability for the President continues to slide.

A Plot to Oust Biden?

I hope Gavin Newsom is doing his campaign warm up drills, as it seems the tide is shifting for the Biden family. Support for his candidacy is waning, and more and more it’s looking like any Republican challenger – even an unlikeable four-time indicted former president – can claim victory over the aging Joe Biden.

Biden’s decline is occurring rapidly that no amount of spin can disguise his frailty and inability to lead the country.

Granted, I’m no political strategist, but it seems the tactic is to make the Biden family so unappealing that another candidate – anyone but Robert Kennedy, Jr., of course – is inevitable.

Mark my words – by the end of the year, Joe Biden will no longer be running to secure his residency at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
