For the last several months, the crew here at 19FortyFive has been looking at the Disney Company from a few different perspectives.

As 19FortyFive loves to cover U.S. culture, we think Disney matters as a cultural icon that Americans worship.

And as the nation heads back out more and more on vacations and looks for different types of entertainment in a post-pandemic world, it seems Disney’s offerings are clearly appealing – to the tune of billions of dollars a year in profits.

With that in mind, we aim to look at Disney from all angles. We have tackled its overall business and revenue strategies, streaming services, and various theme park offerings and hotels.

Overall, we have done our best to focus on the massive amount of offerings at Disney World in Florida as millions of people hit those parks and hotels in 2022 and will do so again in 2023.

In the coming months, we will increase our coverage of Disney World more and more as it is a cultural phenomenon that just won’t go away – and is a pure cash machine that Americans keep dropping billions at these parks year after year.

One big part of that cash machine is the hotels that Disney World offers that can command $1,000 a night or more. While we have several reviews and photo essays in the hopper, we wanted to show you what we think is the most visually stunning hotel on Disney World property: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

While this hotel is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, we will say that when we stayed there for several days this month, we can honestly say this hotel is the best Disney-themed hotel in all of Walt Disney World. Simply stated: it is magnificent.

While we have a bigger review of the hotel coming soon, we wanted to share some original photos we took to show you the beauty of this resort and why we think it is worth every dollar to stay here. The photos of this hotel tell the story.
