Joe Biden Is a Terrible President

Don’t fall for the Progressive hype being built around Joe Biden. He is the destroyer of our once great country.

Don’t Be Fooled, Joe Biden Is a Really Terrible President – Bernard L. Schwartz and David Rothkopf of the Daily Beast want you to believe that “Joe Biden is the Master Deal Maker That America Needs Right Now.”

According to them, he is the greatest, most Progressive president since Lyndon B. Johnson stalked the halls of power.

What’s more, Biden has in their estimation “saved” the country from the “insane” House Republican “hostage takers” on the debt ceiling.

Well, whoop-dee-doo about the debt ceiling vote.

Sure, it was a silly issue for the House Republicans to raise in the run-up to the 2024 Presidential Election because the risks that voters would blame them for defaulting on America’s grotesque debt (and bring the entire economy down) was far too high.

At the same time, though, Biden and his apparatchiks don’t seem to understand—or much care—that their explosive spending policies are the cause of the high inflation and interest rates that are devastating the American economy, notably the American middle-class (the group that were once considered the backbone of the US economy).

Biden’s Domestic Policies are Killing America

The people who support Biden (all three of them and their pet cats) believe that excessive federal spending with no real strategy or plan for implementation is the surest way to make America great again.

It is not.

But Biden and his team love it because Democrats have always enjoyed the timeless practice of giving goodies to the people from the public treasury: they’re buying votes.

Plus, an energetic executive (if “energetic” can be used to described Joe Biden) is precisely what makes Leftists swoon. Throwing other people’s money around in pursuit of capturing votes during an election season, no matter the ramifications, is considered “energetic.”

The proposed deal would tack on nearly $5 trillion to the national debt once the next debt ceiling vote is set to come around—in the year 2025—and by then who knows what condition the economy will be in.

Schwartz and Rothkopf blunder ahead in their supportive analysis of Biden’s presidency (which would make the folks at the old Soviet propaganda arm, Pravda, blush).

According to them, Biden has gotten the most sweeping legislative, bipartisan agenda through in history. Again, like their assessment of Biden’s potential debt ceiling deal with Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rothkopf and Schwartz are correct on a superficial level.

As always, though, the devil is in the details.

Every single one of Biden’s legislative “victories” amounts to little more than substantial spending bills that enhance the power and reach of the federal government as controlled by President Biden and weakens Americans on an individual, local, and state level.

The common mistake that all Democrats tend to make is that the government is synonymous with the people. The more they can enhance government power, the more they can help the people.

Sadly, this is not the case.

In the aggregate, undisciplined federal spending does nothing more than add to the national debt (which is already unpayable, hence the fright over potentially failing to raise the debt ceiling) which hampers potential future growth.

The Republicans Had to Make a Debt Ceiling Deal

At the same time, however, Americans and the US—indeed, global—economy have become so dependent on the government’s deficit spending, that any default on that debt system would crash the economy.

Republicans, in turn, would likely be blamed

On the eve of an election year, being the party blamed for collapsing the economy will not lead to victory. It is only the GOP that has anyone inside of it who wants to rein in the ongoing fiasco that is America’s spending problem.

Thus, losing the next election because the Republicans are blamed for causing a financial crisis from their refusal to raise the debt ceiling will ensure that America is governed by the never-ending radicalism of the Left.

Joe Biden Fumbles Foreign Policy

Next, Rothkopf and Schwartz shift into the foreign policy domain which has undoubtedly been the area of American life that Biden has most negatively impacted. “He has looked Putin and Xi in the eye without blinking,” the two Daily Beast writers delight.

Of course, this is the biggest load of partisan hogwash imaginable.

After all, it was Biden who allowed for the completion of the controversial Nord Stream II Pipeline linking Russian natural gas to Europe via Germany—a project that the supposedly Russia-loving Trump Administration sanctioned.

That decision, coupled with Biden’s bizarre comments in the lead-up to Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, where he seemed to give his approval to the invasion, led to Russia’s devastating war on their neighbor. Having then been caught unawares, Biden has found himself locked into an escalating war between Ukraine and Russia that may lead into a nuclear world war

Unable to end that conflict—or to lead it—the United States has become a tool of Kiev and a hostage to Moscow’s escalatory threats. This is hardly a position befitting the world’s supposedly last remaining Superpower.

And let’s not even mention the slow-rolling disasters that Biden’s feckless foreign policy have led to in the Greater Middle East and Latin America.

As Biden blunders in Europe, he placates the far greater foe, the Communist Party of China, which is already on the warpath both against their neighbors and the United States itself.

As just one example (of many) of Biden’s weak and malleable foreign policy toward Beijing, consider the recent balloon fiasco over the continental United States. While not the apocalyptic event that most pundits portrayed it as at that time, the fact remains that Biden’s pathetic response to it sent a powerful message to Beijing’s militant rulers that America truly was in decline.

After all, what previous American leader—Democrat or Republican—would have allowed themselves and their country to have been thoroughly humiliated in such a public way by a rival communist state?

Only Biden’s America would.

Now, China’s autocratic rulers have expanded their military and economic challenge to the United States meaning it will be more difficult for American leaders to deter China’s rapid growth.

Xi Jinping saw that the United States under Biden’s “leadership” was unwilling and/or incapable of shooting down a balloon after a week of having it float over some of America’s most sensitive military installations, broadcasting secretive data on those facilities back to China’s military.

Why on Earth would Beijing—or anyone else—fear Biden?

Joe Biden Chooses American Decline

The linguini-spined authors of the Daily Beast piece actually attempt to link Biden’s behavior with the ineffable words of old-time, country music tough guy, Kenny Rogers, that the forty-sixth president supposedly knows “when to hold them and when to fold them.”

Clearly, Rothkopf and Schwartz need to just drop in to see what condition Biden’s condition is in! All Biden does is “fold them”, especially when it comes to Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party.

The dynamic duo who wrote the Daily Beast piece then have the temerity to ask their audience, “Would you want Trump to be eye-to-eye with Putin?” Well, yes, because for the entirety of Trump’s first term in office, Ukraine’s safety and sovereignty were never under threat from their nuclear-armed, autocratic neighbor in the Kremlin.

The two writers then inquire if we’d want “Ron DeSantis negotiating a budget with Congress?” Again (and I say this as a resident of Florida), yes! Under DeSantis’ leadership, Florida has a balanced budget, and our economy is one of the best in the country—even with the ongoing dispute between Governor DeSantis and the Walt Disney Corporation, one of the largest employers and contributors to the state’s massive economy.

Americans Must Vote Republican in 2024

The Left has deluded themselves into believing that Joe Biden is not just the “transition” candidate that even he had described himself as in 2020 but that he’s some kind of FDR or LBJ figure reincarnated.

He’s not.

At best, he’s a Jimmy Carter-type—and we know how that ends. Biden has done real, lasting harm to this country. He might end up doing irreparable damage to America if he manages to secure for himself a second term.

The Republicans must break the delusion and return the country to reality by defeating Biden. While I support Ron DeSantis, I was a previous, unapologetic supporter of former President Donald Trump. I welcome either man to the White House—and know they would truly make America great again.

Biden, on the other hand, will continue making Americans poorer, the country weaker, and more dependent on the bad guys. Don’t fall for the Progressive hype being built around Biden. He is the destroyer of our once great country.
