Joe Biden’s Presidency Could End at the Southern Border

Biden’s Border Policy Implodes – Joe Biden is presiding over the complete collapse of America’s southwestern border. The United States has endured record levels of illegal immigration since he took office in January 2021.

Still, Joe Biden was able to coast by because of rules and procedures that his much-maligned predecessor, Donald Trump, had put into place during his previous four years in office.

But now one of the biggest policies from the Trump Administration—Title 42—is coming to an end.

This was the last bulwark keeping our border even somewhat secure.

Rather than fight to extend it, because of his political radicalism, both Biden and his fellow Democrats let the program end.

Now, there is a race between the US military to set up some semblance of border control and thousands of illegal immigrants emanating from nearby Mexico, who have been encouraged to flood over our broken southwestern border at precisely the moment that Title 42 ends.

To be clear: the handful of US troops that the Biden Administration is deploying to America’s porous 3,000-mile-wide, open southwestern border will do little to ameliorate the coming influx of undocumented migrants invading our country.

In fact, the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) reports that they’ve apprehended 10,000 illegal immigrants a day in the run-up to Title 42’s end.

What’s more, President Joe Biden doesn’t really care about illegal immigration.

Joe Biden Doesn’t Believe in Border Security

In fact, he’s on the other side of that issue.

However implicit it may be, the Democrats want illegal immigration to occur because they believe it will benefit their party politically.

This is part of their ultimate drive to legalize illegal immigrants to solidify the illegal immigrant community’s vote for the Democratic Party.

Title 42 has been used since 2020, first by the Trump, and now by the Biden Administrations to cut down on illegal immigration. It has been the primary way that the US government has effectively booted many illegals who have made it into the United States.

With this program ending, Border Patrol cautions that America may be flooded by a whopping 14,000 illegals per day. The Biden Administration insists this is a “worst case scenario” figure.

Yet, given that we’re already enduring 10,000 illegals per day in the run-up to Title 42’s end, what’s another four thousand more?

Bizarrely, President Biden has been trying to lay the blame for the burgeoning border crisis at the feet of the Republican Party. He’s trying desperately to tether this crisis with that of the pending debt-ceiling fight. Joe Biden and the Democrats are claiming that, in their zeal to cut federal spending, the Republicans are holding hostage funds that could be used to secure the open border.

This is a lie.

The Democrats know that the 2024 Presidential Election is going to be a squeaker. American voters are very concerned about immigration. That issue swung the 2016 Presidential Election in Donald Trump’s favor.

It might very well swing the 2024 election in Republicans’ favor again. There’s no amount of deflection or spin that the Biden team can make up that will stop voters from blaming the forty-sixth president for what amounts to a total defeat on America’s southwestern border.

Joe Biden’s Political Risk

All this was avoidable had Joe Biden behaved as the centrist he claimed to be in the 2020 Presidential Election. He could have easily continued Trump’s more successful policies (of which, there were many) and simply taken the credit for it, as Bill Clinton had done in the 1990s, first against George H.W. Bush, then against Newt Gingrich, and later against Bob Dole in 1996.

Joe Biden had run for president twice before, once in 1988 and again in 2008. Both times he was a laughingstock—even among his fellow Democrats. The man did not change when he ran again in 2020. What did change was the kind of Republican—Donald J. Trump—that he was campaigning against.

For the first time in his career, Biden’s negatives were outshone by the negatives of his opponent, then-President Trump. Because of that, Joe Biden was able to skirt by the hard questions about his personality and his policies; he was able to make 2020 a referendum on Trump, the man. It worked.

Now, however, Americans have had three years of Joe Biden.

They’ve been subjected to one of the most turgid economies in history (despite what official sources are saying, which amounts to a massive coverup to protect Biden). Biden has presided over the worst foreign policy since Jimmy Carter stalked the White House halls.

What’s more, Biden’s policies are contributing to the division in the United States.

Throw in his bad border program (or lack of a border policy) and Americans are about to be given a stunning visual of abject presidential failure going into what will undoubtedly be a tight presidential election in 2024. Joe Biden should have just maintained Title 42 and pretended like it was his own.

Alas, he is the most extreme Left-wing president this country has ever had. Neither he nor his advisers can dare embrace a program—however successful—that was created by the dreaded, mean, old, Orange Man in the White House.
