The Hunter Biden Scandal Is Growing Bigger By the Second

The presence of Hunter Biden operating alongside top officials of the Obama Administration, using those connections to possibly enrich himself (and his whole family), is still more proof that the Obama Administration was the farthest thing from scandal-free, as the forty-fourth president laughably claims.

The Hunter Biden scandal could come back to haunt President Biden but also the old Obama White House team aswell. What is said to be the most “scandal-free” administration in history, as led by President Barack Obama, is actually quite tainted by scandal, as it turns out.

It wasn’t only the pallets of cash that President Obama gave to the Iranians as part of shambolic nuclear weapons “deal” with the mad mullahs. Or the illegal wiretapping of journalists that the Obama Administration found politically threatening. It wasn’t the great lie that one could keep their doctors under Obamacare if one liked their doctor. Nor was it the politicization of the IRS during the 2012 Presidential Election or the illegal gun-running scandal known as “Fast and Furious.”

The Obama Administration’s most enduring scandal – and there were many more than previously listed – was the way it overlooked the alleged Hunter Biden international influence-peddling scheme – as well as the corruption of Hillary Clinton when she served as Obama’s secretary of state.

Hunter Biden was a Fixture in the Obama Administration

And we now know that Hunter Biden was not some outlier who was kept at arm’s length by the Obama Administration

Sure, recently released emails from the Obama years in office indicate that Hunter had extensive connections with his father’s staff at the Old Executive Office Building. Beyond those familial ties, though, we now know that Hunter Biden was in close communication with key leaders at Hillary Clinton’s State Department.

In fact, Hunter Biden was briefed by elements of the U.S. intelligence community that one of his deals in the developing African nation of Ghana, with a Chinese natural gas firm, was a potentially unlawful endeavor because that Chinese firm was under sanction by the U.S. government.

One could argueHunter Biden was coordinating his illicit businesses at the highest levels of the Obama Administration.

Former President Obama had to have been at least aware that Hunter was up to no good and he simply looked the other way. In fact, in one of the emails from 2010, Hunter Biden complained to Joe Biden’s executive assistant, Nancy Orloff, that his ex-wife Kathleen and their children were “asked to leave the White House ‘at least 5 times’.” No further explanation was given.

Although, one can infer that the Obama Administration was tepid about being too closely associated with the Biden Family outside of formal functions because of how deeply tainted they all were. Recent disclosures to the House Committee on Oversight about the Biden Family’s personal finances, as led by Rep. James Comer (R-KY), indicate that Hunter Biden’s “business” paid large amounts of money to virtually every member of the Biden Family—aside from Joe Biden – though that has yet to be fully determined.

Yet another example of how deeply ensconced in the Obama Administration’s foreign policy team was in Hunter Biden and his alleged illicit international influence-peddling scheme comes from the fact that the emails showing Hunter Biden’s involvement in major Obama Administration events – such as a 2010 luncheon with then-Chinese President Hu Jintao as well as two vice-presidential trips to Africa – was deep.

The Federal Government Raises Roadblocks

This explains why the America First Legal Foundation, a non-profit run by former Trump Administration speechwriter, Stephen Miller, hit a roadblock when it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for access to the 2010 email chains showing Hunter Biden’s involvement in these events.

While the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was forced to acknowledge the emails involving Hunter Biden did exist, they were able to skirt the FOIA disclosure rules by declaring those emails subject to a “p5 exception,” which protects “confidential communications requesting or submitting advice, between the president and the president’s advisers, or between such advisers.”

So, they sent the America First Legal Foundation a bunch of heavily redacted versions of the original email chain.

If Hunter Biden was such a black sheep and kept far away from the Obama team, why would the National Archives be shielding his correspondence with key members of the Obama Administration’s foreign policy team about major events that occurred during their tenure in office?

Why would the Obama White House be desperate to keep Hunter Biden’s family out of the White House on no less than five occasions?

The same National Archives bureaucracy that is giddily leaking privileged emails between the Trump White House and itself to prove that former President Donald Trump should be indicted for his mishandling of classified documents is the same group going to great lengths to protect Hunter Biden from the House GOP’s investigation. One would think that the National Archives would be more interested in preserving the privileged communications of a former president over the bent son of the current president.

This is not the case.

That’s partly because the entire bureaucracy has been weaponized (by Obama and the Democrats) against Donald Trump. And the bureaucracy is also trying to obfuscate the truth about the matter—which is that Hunter Biden was heavily involved with key elements of the Obama Administration for years and his corruption likely touched them on some level.

They’re Protecting Obama, Too

What’s more, if the truth about Hunter Biden’s deep involvement in corruption ever got out to its full extent, it would likely unequivocally implicate Joe Biden, which could be the undoing of Joe Biden’s presidency.

Thankfully, the compromised and weaponized National Archives is no longer the sole arbiter of the Hunter Biden records. At the core of Hunter Biden’s legal drama is his personal laptop that he dropped off for repairs at a small Delaware computer repair shop.

Once the technician working on the computer realized the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden, and he saw the extent of incriminating information on it, the technician was compelled to come forward and reveal the illicit contents of what New York Post columnist, Miranda Devine, calls Hunter’s “Laptop from Hell.”

The truth will out itself.

The Republicans are doggedly pursuing all threads related to Hunter Biden. If investigators pry hard enough and long enough, they’ll uncover a deep web of corruption that has Joe Biden himself entangled in it and probably has multiple elements of the Obama camp ensnared as well.

The presence of Hunter Biden operating alongside top officials of the Obama Administration, using those connections to possibly enrich himself (and his whole family), is still more proof that the Obama Administration was the farthest thing from scandal-free, as the forty-fourth president laughably claims.
