Now that the sweetheart plea deal in Hunter Biden’s ongoing tax evasion and illegal gun possession case has been killed (at least temporarily, as the presiding judge awaits greater explanation from the DOJ about why they offered the plea deal in the first place), the walls are beginning to close in around President Joe Biden.
Already, the overly cautious and pragmatic Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), has indicated that he will pursue an impeachment inquiry (though he’s not specified a timeline yet) into President Joe Biden based on the various revelations about Hunter Biden’s alleged scandals.
The Walls Really Are Closing in Around Joe Biden
The walls are closing in around the forty-sixth president. But, don’t tell him that. When asked at a recent White House event, Biden absently grinned and meandered past the reporters who had the guts to point out the fact that the aging emperor has no clothes on.
Setting aside the courthouse drama with Hunter Biden, there have already been a bevy of revelations about his perfidy.
Notably, the GOP-led House Oversight Committee uncovered a series of text messages that Hunter Biden sent to the head of a Chinese energy consortium in which he threatened the Chinese citizen with unspecified punishments unless that Chinese citizen paid him for whatever services Hunter Biden was rendering to the foreign firm.
The threat was that Hunter’s father would retaliate against the interests of the Chinese firm at an unspecified time. In fact, Hunter explicitly stated that his father was seated beside him during that text exchange.
In effect, Hunter was saying that his father was directing him to make the threat against the Chinese firm unless payment was made.
Payment for what?
Well, unless you’re a partisan hack charged with defending the Biden Administration, it’s fairly obvious what the payment was for—and why Joe Biden would have been involved at all.
Hunter Biden was the face of a Biden Family-wide international, illicit influence-peddling scheme in which they traded access to Joe Biden’s various positions in government over the years in exchange for gobs of money.
That was how the Biden Family became so fabulously wealthy. Straight-up corruption.
More Than Meets the Eye for Joe Biden
Further details have been released indicating that massive amounts of money from Hunter Biden’s business made their way to various shell companies that were affiliated with the Biden Family. This indicates that there was a larger scheme afoot that went beyond whatever Hunter Biden was up to abroad.
We’ve also got rounds of testimony from various Hunter Biden business affiliates showcasing the extensive linkages between Hunter Biden and Joe Biden.
Of course, President Biden has repeatedly denied any involvement with his wayward son’s business.
Recently, though, the White House had to correct those stringent denials and gave a much more nuanced explanation—indicating that the forty-sixth president was, at the very least, aware of the illegal activities his son was up to.
Next Monday, Devon Archer, a close Hunter Biden associate, is set to testify before the Congressional panel investigating Hunter Biden. A preview of what he has to say has already been disseminated to the public.
For example, in 2014, Archer met with then-Vice-President Joe Biden to discuss what was then an upcoming trip to Ukraine. Archer had no official role in the US government. Nor was there any reason for him to meet with the then-Vice-President—unless the two men were coordinating about a possible business deal in Ukraine.
Before Archer ever became a public figure, though, another close Hunter Biden associate, Tony Bobulinski, came forward to present his testimony in the press about the extent of Hunter Biden’s corruption—and Joe Biden’s direct involvement with that illegality.
Bobulinski, along with the initial news about the Hunter Biden scandal during the 2020 Presidential Election were suppressed by nefarious actors within the US government and the mainstream media.
Today, as evidenced by Rep. McCarthy’s comments about initiating an impeachment inquiry against President Biden—and the subsequent refusal by the presiding judge to accept the sweetheart plea deal that the Joe Biden-led DOJ offered to Hunter Biden on tax evasion charges—not even the so-called “Deep State” can protect the Biden Syndicate.
Thus, Joe Biden’s bizarre refusal to acknowledge recent events surrounding his son’s alleged corruption and McCarthy’s embrace of impeachment as a matter of congressional policy under his watch, means that Joe Biden’s days are numbered.
Trump Can Beat Biden
Those who are concerned that former President Donald J. Trump’s alleged crimes will dissuade independent voters from supporting Trump in the General Election will now have to contend with the fact that President Biden will be under the same—if not more—legal scrutiny than Trump if Biden remains the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee in 2024.
Already, President Biden is one of the most unpopular men to have ever run for reelection in modern political history. He’s got slightly less unpopularity than what Trump has.
But the presence of this corruption scandal hanging over his head, as well as the likelihood that the Republicans impeach the forty-sixth president, means that his chances for reelection have just declined drastically—and Trump’s chances have increased.
This is a nightmare scenario for the Democrats, who now find themselves having to support Biden no matter what or replace him with a far less effective candidate, such as Vice-President Kamala Harris.
Or with a more effective candidate, like California’s Governor Gavin Newsom, who will have difficulty proving to independent voters that they should vote for the obviously unstable Democratic Party in 2024, should the DNC kick both its presidential and vice-presidential candidates to the curb.
