The White House is one of the most secure buildings in the world. It is guarded by a phalanx of some of the hardest, best-trained Secret Service agents in history. As the seat of the presidency, the fabled presidential palace has a world-class surveillance system.
At all times, the crack security services who defend the White House from all threats, have situational awareness. Yet, that elite team of security agents and the sophisticated electronic surveillance network that lines every facet of the White House were apparently stymied by a small bag of cocaine.
After the July 4 holiday, a baggie of white powder—cocaine—was discovered in the White House. And the investigation is already over – with no arrests.
A Bodyguard of Lies
First, the public was told that the drugs were discovered in a high-trafficked area of the White House.
Next, the public was assured that there was no way the cocaine had belonged to anyone in the First Family, simply because the First Family was not present at the White House during that July 4 weekend.
The Secret Service urged the media to stand fast and await their official determination as to the true owner of the cocaine because they, as the world’s premier protective service, would get to the bottom of it. No stone would be left unturned. Every office, bedroom, and secret nooks where past presidents liked to diddle the interns would be scoured.
It turned out that the original reporting about where the cocaine was discovered was wrong.
The narcotic wasn’t found near a highly trafficked area. It was, in fact, near the ultra-secure Situation Room. So, only select members of the White House staff would be given access to this area. People on staff who were well-known to the Secret Service.
Perhaps it was a highly placed staffer unable to cope with the extreme demands of their job?
But wait, there’s more.
As it turns out, the Biden Family was present at the White House for part of the July 4 holiday weekend. That was easily proven by simply checking the official travel schedule of the First Family that the White House released.
The Bidens were in the White House when the cocaine was present. Hunter Biden is a known cocaine addict. The cocaine was found in a secured part of the White House, where only top members of the administration or family members could gain access to.
Yet, the world’s premier investigative and intelligence agencies, such as the Secret Service, can’t figure out who did this?
Well, innocent until proven guilty, and all that jazz. At least the experts are investigating the matter with due haste.
Joe Biden Thinks America Is Stupid
Oh, Secret Service has already concluded their investigation? Who is the culprit then?
According to the Secret Service spokesperson, his agency is “not able to single out a person of interest.” Therefore, “at this time, the Secret Service’s investigation is closed due to a lack of physical evidence.”
While this is not the scandal many on the Right are hoping it to be, this story must be contextualized with all the other stories about Hunter Biden, Democratic Party corruption, and the overall double-standards that Republicans are subjected to by the press that the Democrats are rarely ever made to endure. Could you imagine if a gram of cocaine was discovered in the Trump-era White House? The forty-fifth president would’ve been impeached over that again.
Secret Service, which is clearly trying to push this incident under the rug as is their unofficial raison d’être (to protect not only the persons of the presidency but the dignity of their protectees), would not be allowed to do so if this incident had happened during the previous administration. They would have been hounded by the Democrats and subpoenaed until they revealed whose cocaine it was.
Biden Gets Away with It
Today, however, is a new day indeed. Joe Biden and the Democrats are in charge. Thus, this incident will be swept under the rug. No one will be punished. Nothing more will be said publicly. In a few days, we will have forgotten about this incident entirely.
The powers that be should realize, though, that the greater the silence on this issue, the more likely it is that people will just assume the cocaine belonged to someone important.
