‘Nine Seconds from Hell’: Did Joe Biden Fall Asleep While Trying to ‘Help’ Hawaii?

My opinion is that Joe Biden dozed off while in Hawaii. Whether it was a literal or figurative snooze, it doesn’t really matter. The fact of the matter is that Biden is the president who’s not there. And he’s getting worse with age.

In what Biden advisers and Democratic Party 2024 campaign strategists should dub, “nine seconds from Hell,” there exists a grainy, low-quality video of the octogenarian president looking haggard while attending a meeting in Maui, Hawaii, honoring the victims of the ongoing Hawaii wildfires and showing solidarity with emergency responders there.

That nine-second video could not have come at a more inopportune time for the forty-sixth president, who is currently subjected to accusations that he was indifferent to the plight of Hawaii and that he’s simply too old to be president

In that video, the gaunt Biden appears to be dozing off for nine seconds during a speech being given about the harrowing ordeal that survivors of the Hawaii wildfire were made to endure.

Of course, the White House denies it.

Joe Biden Saved? It’s Only “Fake News” If the Democrats Don’t Like It

Almost immediately the entire mainstream media went into high gear, with writers and so-called journalists insisting that the video was another case of “Fake News.”

The damage has been done, though.

And the fact that the entire elite media machine began droning on using the same talking points—and how they’ve mercilessly repeated those points without deviation—shows how harmful to Biden’s laconic reelection campaign that grainy video featuring Biden’s nine-seconds from Hell really was.

It really doesn’t matter if the nine-second, grainy video was accurate or not.

What matters is how many people believe it was truthful. The video was not edited. It was simply played for the entirety of the scene for all to see across the right-wing media landscape.

The video was so powerful that even the mainstream media could not ignore it.

Rather than simply play it for all to see, free of interpretation from the talking heads who populate the mainstream media, they had to blather over it and offer endless commentary about how inaccurate the video was.

Frankly, it’s astounding to see the media, which so routinely castigated former President Donald Trump as both heartless and mentally unfit because of his age, protect the even older and apparently more heartless Biden.

Is it so hard to think that many Americans would simply assume that Joe Biden nodded off, given his advanced age?

After all, the National Institute of Health (NIH) reported in 2012 that, “sleep becomes more fragmented and lighter” the older one gets. Biden is at the top of the age bracket. It’s more offensive that the media would try to impugn those Americans who just took the video at face value, using common sense, rather than excoriate the president for having so thoroughly botched his administration’s response to the Hawaii wildfire disaster.

Elements in our elite understood the damage that the video was going to do. The reason that so many people accepted the nine-second clip as accurate (which, technically it was), was because Joe Biden has been demonstrably incompetent in his various public appearances since running for president in 2020.

Joe Biden’s Numerous (and Counting) Public Missteps

Just recently, the man played slip-n-slide on a flat stage at the widely attended Air Force Academy graduation.

The forty-sixth president has fallen off a stationary bike while trekking through the flat sidewalks of Rehoboth Beach. He’s fallen up the stairs to Air Force One on more than one occasion.

At times, Biden appears utterly incapable of stringing together a cogent sentence, no matter how short his media appearances are or how well-written his speeches may be. Biden is known to snap at reporters and staff members alike. He often gets confused about basic details at any given event he happens to be attending.

As for the Hawaii example, it took President Biden weeks to respond to the natural disaster in any meaningful way. His defenders argue that the president made the federal resources available to the Hawaiian authorities early in the disaster.

But, as was so often heard from the media during the Trump Administration, one of the primary duties of any president is to serve as the “consoler-in-chief.”

Sleepy Joe Does Hawaii’s Wildfires

Biden’s response to the wildfires in that regard was downright heartless.

The disaster that has caused billions of dollars of property damage, has harmed the economy of Hawaii, and taken countless lives—while displacing large numbers of people from their homes—barely registered for the forty-sixth president, who couldn’t have been bothered to alter his Rehoboth Beach vacation even slightly.

Just when it looked as though Biden might have been responding by leaving his Rehoboth Beach excursion by traveling west, Biden found himself far removed from Hawaii. He went to stay with the climate change activist, billionaire Tom Steyer in Lake Tahoe. After spending some time in the mountains doing Lord knows what, Biden finally ventured across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii.

When he arrived, the president looked disinterested and disheveled. What’s more, Joe Biden made numerous insensitive statements—even going so far as to compare the Hawaiian wildfires to a kitchen fire that once occurred in the Biden Family mansion.

The coup de grace for Biden’s critics came with that video.

The media wants to fixate on the context (rarely, however, did they ever give former President Trump the same courtesy) to obfuscate the real matter—which is that Biden is seen as a heartless, incompetent, possibly senile leader.

The Media Covers Up the Truth

The media and Democrats (one in the same these days) must conspire to prevent any recognition of these facts by the larger American population otherwise it could imperil the Democrats’ chance for electoral victory in what surely will be a contentious 2024 Presidential Election.

My opinion is that Joe Biden dozed off while in Hawaii. Whether it was a literal or figurative snooze, it doesn’t really matter. The fact of the matter is that Biden is the president who’s not there. And he’s getting worse with age.

Sadly for all of us, Biden’s the oldest president in history … and he’s only getting older.
