President Joe Biden’s Lies Are Coming Back to Haunt Him

If Joe Biden were a Republican, the Democrats would have impeached him years ago—and with good reason. Because Joe Biden is a Democrat, though, both his party and most of our elite organizations are rallying to defend him.

Former Vice President of the United States Joe Biden speaking with attendees at the 2019 Iowa Federation of Labor Convention hosted by the AFL-CIO at the Prairie Meadows Hotel in Altoona, Iowa. By Gage Skidmore.

Hunter Biden was set to plead guilty to charges of tax evasion and being in possession of an illegal firearm in the ongoing federal prosecution of him for those alleged crimes.

Despite having all his legal and financial ducks in a row, set to agree to a sweetheart plea deal from federal prosecutors – that would likely have never been offered to any other defendant facing similar charges – the presiding judge refused to allow for the plea deal to be offered after neither Biden’s defense team nor prosecutors could agree as to the extent of charges that the plea deal would shield Mr. Biden from.

The moment the judge refused to accept the plea deal, Hunter Biden reversed course and entered a plea of “not guilty.”

Was Hunter Biden lying when he pleaded guilty to receive a sweetheart deal or was he lying when he changed his mind to not guilty?

The bigger issue is who else was involved in Hunter’s business activities that got him into trouble and whether was there any undue influence exercised over the DOJ to offer the first son such a sweetheart deal, to begin with – pressure possibly from Hunter’s father, President Joe Biden?

A Host of Problems for Hunter and Joe Biden

The reason that the 53-year-old first son is in legal jeopardy arises from his own irresponsible alleged actions rather than from some nefarious Republican plot against him, as so many Democrats would have you believe.

Biden was disallowed from owning a firearm because, under current gun laws, those who have a known substance abuse issue cannot be in possession of firearms. Hunter Biden has a documented substance abuse problem and, yet, he obtained a gun

The first son’s tax problems stem from his refusal to pay between $1.2 million and $1.6 million in taxes on his $4.4 million-a-year income for the years 2017 and 2018, despite having enough money to do so – and even with his family and business partners apparently pleading with him repeatedly to do so. Hunter Biden has further admitted to “being delinquent” on his tax obligations between 2016 and 2019.

During the years in question, Hunter Biden’s earnings were derived from multiple sources, including Rosemont-Seneca Partners, the “consulting” firm that he had started with the recently convicted businessman, Devon Archer.

Not only did Hunter Biden’s money come from that business but he also made a veritable treasure trove from his position as a board member of the Ukrainian natural gas giant, Burisma—as well as from various Chinese state-owned investment and energy companies and one undisclosed Romanian firm.

Hunter Biden’s team argues the reason for his dereliction in paying taxes was due to him being in the “throes of addiction.”

In fact, a third-party individual, who has since been identified as entertainment lawyer and novelist, Kevin Morris, stepped forward in October 2021 to pay for the back taxes Hunter Biden owed the government. The sum paid by the third party was $2.6 million.

According to Hunter Biden, however, he is not actively making payments any longer. Biden told the presiding judge in his tax evasion and illegal gun ownership case that Morris did not pay off Hunter Biden’s taxes. In the first son’s words, Morris gave Biden a loan with which to pay back his taxes—a loan that Hunter Biden admits he is not presently repaying.

In essence, until the loan is repaid, then, it was just another example of what some derisively refer to as one of Hunter Biden’s “sugar brothers” coming through for him.

One must inquire as to why all these wealthy, powerful, and successful people end up coming to the stricken Biden’s aid.

It certainly can’t be Hunter Biden’s winning personality or charitable good works for humanity.

The House GOP Investigation Matters

It all circles back to the accusations presently being driven by the House Republicans: that Hunter Biden, at the behest of his powerful father, was the front man for a massive, ongoing, illicit international influence-peddling operation.

Perhaps the reason for Hunter Biden not paying his taxes was because he understood there would be an official record of his perfidy and was merely trying to cover up for his wrongdoing—in order to better protect his father long enough to allow for Joe Biden to run for reelection.

The fact that Hunter Biden’s plea deal broke down was because Hunter Biden and his legal team assumed that, by pleading guilty in the case, Hunter would be shielded from all other investigations into his alleged misdeeds.

The Department of Justice, according to two senior IRS whistleblowers, has been slow-walking the investigations into Hunter Biden out of fear that it might expose President Joe Biden.

In fact, it is likely that the reason DOJ prosecutors even offered Hunter the sweetheart plea deal was because Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Christopher Clark – who has since stepped down as Hunter Biden’s attorney and has submitted a request to become a judge – sent a message to the DOJ that if the case went to trial, he’d subpoena the forty-sixth president as a character witness for Hunter Biden.

Better to kill the case before it went to trial by offering the first son a deal. Now that the judge in the case has squelched the deal, on top of the active House GOP investigation into Hunter Biden, the risks to President Biden are significant.

Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski, and former Burisma head Mykola Zlochevsky have all asserted at various points over the last three years that Joe Biden was directly involved with his son’s illicit activities.

House Republican investigators have proven that Hunter Biden was receiving massive sums of money from Chinese-owned energy firms and then giving payouts to every member of the Biden Family – although a direct linkage between Hunter Biden’s firm and Joe Biden has yet to be fully revealed.

The GOP investigation in the House has uncovered proof, though, that as vice president, Joe Biden often communicated with his son using fake email names. Moreover, House GOP investigators concluded that Hunter Biden has been making payouts to various shell companies that were created when Joe Biden was vice president.

It is only a matter of time before the GOP investigation unearths direct linkages between Joe Biden and his son’s allegedly illicit international influence-peddling scheme. But the GOP does not have to wait for direct connections between Joe Biden’s finances and Hunter Biden’s businesses to be found before they can initiate an impeachment inquiry.

The tax evasion and illegal gun ownership case is the first major break in the dam of lies that the Biden Family has erected around Hunter and Joe Biden’s perfidious business. With everything that has thus far been revealed, from the collapse in the plea deal to all the evidence exposed in the ongoing House GOP investigation, it is obvious that Joe Biden has had a hand in his son’s purportedly corrupt business practices for many years.

Joe Biden Would Have Been Impeached By Now If He Were a Republican

If Joe Biden were a Republican, the Democrats would have impeached him years ago—and with good reason. Because Joe Biden is a Democrat, though, both his party and most of our elite organizations are rallying to defend him.

This sort of corruption cannot be allowed to fester, regardless of political party. The Democrats have proven they will impeach Republican presidents with far less evidence than what the House GOP has amassed against Biden. The potential linkages between Joe Biden’s family and Chinese state-owned entities alone make an impeachment inquiry essential.

In fact, it is a moral necessity that Joe Biden be subjected to an impeachment inquiry. This has now transcended petty politics and risen to a real national security concern.

Perhaps the Republicans cannot make their case and maybe Hunter Biden ends up being let off on all that he is accused of. But for the GOP to sit on its hands in abject fear of what their political rivals might do or say against them in the conduct of their righteous impeachment of President Biden is truly appalling.

The House Republicans must take the political risk and impeach Joe Biden because the American people must know if their president is a corrupt stooge of China (and other nations); we must know if our safety and prosperity have been compromised so that the Biden family can a few million more dollars off what is supposed to be their public service.

The Republicans have no choice. They must begin an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. Republicans should begin by this Fall. At the very least, they should not wait beyond this year to do so.

Every second, after all, counts in these matters.

Each moment the Republicans hesitate is another undeserved reprieve that the Democrats and President Biden are given. Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) must act now and make good on his promises to Republican Party voters and the American people to conclusively determine the extent and nature of the Biden Family corruption before Joe Biden gets reelected.
