A ‘Whisper Campaign’ To Get Rid of Joe Biden Has Begun

There seems to be an orchestrated movement from within the Democratic Party’s shadowy leadership to kick Joe Biden off the ticket early in the election and replace him with someone they believe is more competent.

Former Vice President of the United States Joe Biden speaking with attendees at the 2019 Iowa Federation of Labor Convention hosted by the AFL-CIO at the Prairie Meadows Hotel in Altoona, Iowa. By Gage Skidmore.

It has begun. The whisper campaign from within the Democratic Party and its organs in the mainstream media against President Joe Biden’s reelection bid is underway.

Most recently, the preeminent Washington Post writer, David Ignatius, has shared his take on why he opposes Biden running for reelection.

Basically, Biden is too old for both his own and the country’s good.

In this, Ignatius is right. Of course, it begs a larger question: Why is this suddenly coming out now?

The Joe Biden Whispers…

Biden was already the oldest man to run and win the presidency. He’s only gotten older and his obvious mental and physical prowess has significantly declined with each passing year. This never stopped the Democrats before from pushing the old man over the finish line.

And what of Vice-President Kamala Harris? Surely, she would be a suboptimal replacement for the octogenarian president. After all, her disapproval ranking is almost as bad as his—and she’s half his age!

Ah, but you see, the Republicans have initiated an impeachment hearing into Joe Biden for suspicion of having been involved in his son, Hunter Biden’s, allegedly illicit international influence peddling schemes…and the louder and more indignant the Democrats about the matter, the more it makes many think the Democrats are simply protesting too much.

Could it be that the Left fears (and probably knows) that President Biden is going to be taken down by the slow-rolling Republican impeachment agenda?

Democrats Running Scared

Nothing else makes much sense.

The Democrats are scared. Not only is President Biden deeply unpopular, but so too has his chances of reelection narrowed—and we’re only at the start of the 2024 Presidential Election. Besides, Biden now has Cornel West to worry about attacking him from his Left, and likely taking a significant share of what the Democratic Party believes to be “their” black votes.

Meanwhile, new polls have come out showing that any of the current Republican Party presidential candidates could decisively challenge President Biden and likely defeat him in 2024. Specifically, former President Donald J. Trump, the great orange boogeyman for most Democratic Party voters, is polling extremely well against President Biden (considering Trump’s massive legal woes).

In fact, it is likely that Trump’s recent polling has turned in the forty-fifth president’s favor so much precisely because of the public’s opposition to another Biden term, based on concerns of his advanced age as well as his perceived mishandling of the economy.

How I see the Whisper Campaign Working

Think about the way that the Left has initiated its obvious whisper—and now pressure—campaign to get President Biden to bow out. First, they begin publishing stories about how Biden is declining in the polls. Second, news breaks that the Republicans are filing an impeachment inquiry, which will lead to the weakening of Joe Biden’s approval amongst already dubious voters. Third, the rumor mill goes into overdrive about how Democrats like former First Lady Michelle Obama is considering a run in 2024. Fourth, notable Democratic Party supporters in the media start writing op-eds about how Biden is simply too old to run again.

This is a coordinated hit on Joe Biden from key Democratic Party powerbrokers. And this shouldn’t surprise anyone, least of all President Biden. After all, even Biden admitted during the 2020 election that he was merely a “transition candidate”.

Biden’s political benefactor, his old boss, former President Barack Obama, was leaning toward Kamala Harris’ presidential bid in the 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Election before her campaign completely imploded early in that process. Despite that, though, Obama, along with other key Democratic Party leaders, insisted that Biden choose Harris as his number two. The assumption was that Harris would be ready to step in to replace the octogenarian president.

In fact, Republican Party presidential candidate, the former Trump Administration UN Ambassador, Nikki Haley, has spent much time lately reminding audiences that a vote for Biden is, in fact, a vote for Kamala Harris as president. Of course, the aforementioned questions of Harris’ own competence and ability to win a national election should naturally arise.

Yet, aside from writers on the Right-wing of the political spectrum, few Democratic Party supporters ever dare to bring up Harris’ vast number of negatives in public.

The Harris (Non) Factor

For her part, Vice-President Harris was asked directly why neither she nor Biden were taking the prospects of a Trump reelection seriously enough. Harris simply answered in her signature cackle that frightens interviewers and puts off most voters. Harris then explained that she didn’t understand the question.

The implication being that, in no universe would Trump ever become president. Perhaps that’s because the politicized prosecution of the forty-fifth president, in Harris’ view (probably because the Democratic Party’s elite have clued her into their nefarious plans), knows that Trump will be prevented from running for—at the very least of assuming—the presidency.

Both Harris’ unfounded arrogance as well as Biden’s mounting woes, with the suddenly loud speculations about Biden’s electability and the calls for him to step down due to his old age from Biden’s side of the aisle, makes me suspicious.

Something more is going on.

There seems to be an orchestrated movement from within the Democratic Party’s shadowy leadership to kick Joe Biden off the ticket early in the election and replace him with someone they believe is more competent. All the meanwhile, the wheels of justice are redirected against Trump for purely political purposes.
