‘That Looks Bad’: Joe Biden’s Lie Machine Is Coming Back to Haunt Him

It has been revealed that Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, received wires amounting to over $260,000 in 2019 from Chinese business partners.

Former Vice President of the United States Joe Biden speaking with attendees at the 2019 Iowa Federation of Labor Convention hosted by the AFL-CIO at the Prairie Meadows Hotel in Altoona, Iowa. By Gage Skidmore.

It has been revealed that Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, received wires amounting to over $260,000 in 2019 from Chinese business partners.

Shockingly, the wires listed President Joe Biden’s main residence in Delaware as the beneficiary address for these funds, according to findings by the House Oversight Committee.

The Financial Transactions

The House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer, disclosed this information following a subpoena of financial records related to a specific bank account. The wires, originating from China and linked to BHR Partners associates, were sent in the summer of 2019.

Specifically, on July 26, 2019, an individual named Wang Xin wired $10,000, with Joe Biden’s home listed on the transaction. Shortly after, on August 2, 2019, Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR Partners, wired $250,000, once again listing Joe Biden’s home as the beneficiary.

BHR Partners’ Involvement

BHR Partners, a significant player in this transaction, is a fund co-founded by Hunter Biden through a joint venture. The fund maintains substantial investments across the globe, with billions of dollars at stake. This revelation sheds light on the direct involvement of Joe Biden with foreign wired money into the Biden family business from China.

Committee’s Reaction and Concerns

In light of these findings, Chairman James Comer raised significant concerns regarding the Biden family’s financial involvements. He emphasized that President Joe Biden’s previous claim of not receiving money from China has been proven false, given this new evidence.

Comer stated, “Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security. What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing? Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden and the First Family’s corruption.”

The Biden Family’s Response

At present, neither the White House nor the attorneys for Hunter Biden have responded to these allegations. The White House continues to maintain that President Biden was never in business with his son. This revelation arrives amid the House Republicans’ ongoing impeachment inquiry investigation against President Biden.

This latest disclosure adds to the mounting controversies surrounding the Biden family’s business dealings and raises further questions about the extent of their foreign financial transactions.

Previous Denials

President Biden denied allegations that his family members received over $1 million in payments from a Chinese company through a third party, following a House GOP memo on March 20, 2023.

The House Oversight Committee revealed in a memorandum that several Biden family members, including Hunter Biden and James Biden, received over $1.3 million in payments from a Chinese company via a third party.

Joe Biden even asserted in October 2020, “My son has not made money…China.”

The House Oversight Committee disclosed that Hunter Biden and other family members received substantial sums from Chinese nationals and companies with ties to Chinese intelligence and the Communist Party.
