Donald Trump Is Truly Dangerous

Donald Trump is his own worst enemy. The man is leading in key swing state polls against Joe Biden. But his big mouth could be his undoing.

Donald Trump Wants to Kill His Political Opponents – Former President Donald J. Trump has obviously never heard of the old notion that, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.” If he has heard of it, the septuagenarian running for reelection in the 2024 Presidential Election has forgotten the lesson behind that saying (or he simply doesn’t care).

Because, while Donald Trump is the most mistreated president in modern American politics, that doesn’t excuse his calls for the First Son, Hunter Biden, to be killed for having plead guilty to tax evasion. At least, that’s how his latest rant on Truth Social could be interpreted.

This, as the former president is currently under a serious grand jury investigation from Special Counsel Jack Smith (who also recently had the former president indicted for his alleged mishandling of classified documents) partly over what the Department of Justice (DOJ) believes to have been inflammatory comments made by Trump on the day of the infamous January 6 riot.

That rant is dangerous for one reason: Trump has the uncanny ability to incite people into violent action.

Or at least Trump makes it easy for his craven—and desperate—opponents to blame his irresponsible, violent rhetoric on him for the actions of others.

Donald Trump Will Never Learn

Now, if something bad were to happen to the First Son, all Trump’s critics will be able to pile on and blame him. Given how low the DOJ standards for bringing cases against the former Trump has been, the government might even try to prosecute Trump should something bad happen to Hunter Biden.

It is yet another unforced error, especially as Trump appears poised to easily glide into the GOP nomination (though it should be noted that the debates have not yet occurred and that could fundamentally alter the campaign).

To be clear: Hunter Biden is likely guilty as sin. He will plead guilty in one of the cases against him.

In the specific case that Trump is raging about, Hunter Biden was given a sweetheart deal that no ordinary American citizen charged with the same crime—or a member of Trump’s family for that matter, if they were charged with such a crime—would be given.

This case pertained to charges that Hunter Biden committed tax evasion and illegally possessed a firearm. In exchange for pleading guilty rather than fighting the government’s charges in court, Hunter would not have to see a single day in jail for his crimes.

Even though it was a plea deal that few other Americans would have been granted, plea deals still happen all the time in America’s justice system.

Trump can and should be upset over the favorable treatment that the alleged Biden Syndicate has received while the Biden-controlled DOJ has pursued former President Trump with wanton abandon on a bevy of exaggerated charges that no other president would have been charged with.

Yet, this outrage does not excuse calls for what sounds like the killing of one’s political opponents—let alone the offspring of political opponents.

Hunter’s Suspected Crimes

The reason that Hunter Biden is in the spotlight is not just because his crimes—alleged and those he has thus far copped to—are salacious. But these salacious crimes also might prove, if properly investigated by the authorities (which they are presently being looked into by the House Republicans), that Hunter Biden was not acting on his own

Specifically, Hunter is accused of serving as a cutout, a conduit, for his presidential father.

In fact, Hunter’s plea deal is somewhat problematic for him as the House Republicans delve into his personal finances. That’s because the charges of tax evasion apparently stem from his business which Republicans are trying to prove was illicit in nature.

The overall charge against Hunter is that, while his father served in various high-ranking US government positions, Hunter traveled the world with his hat-in-hand, seeking big payouts from foreign government and multinational corporations—which it is believed that he, in fact, received from countries, like China.

Once paid, Hunter is suspected of having passed on a cut of his payout to his father through a murky nexus of financial transactions designed to prevent investigators from determining Joe Biden’s involvement.

Hunter did not initially pay taxes on many of his transactions—including gifts, like a fancy car, he received from a foreign backer—in 2020.

To avoid a harder sentence, Hunter Biden did pay back the taxes which supposedly made it harder for the DOJ to make their case against Hunter Biden being a tax evader.

But if Trump would just shut his mouth on the matter and let the House GOP continue doing their yeoman’s work investigating the alleged Biden Syndicate’s insanely complicated financial records, they will likely find a thread—however weak—linking Hunter’s illicit international influence-peddling to his father.

Every time that Trump lashes out with violent rhetoric or talk that could inspire a lunatic to take violent action against Hunter Biden, he diminishes the ability of the House GOP to do their work.

The Folly of Trump’s Loose Talk

Republicans will now spend all their time and energy fending off ceaseless attacks from the Biden-friendly press because of Trump’s sloppy statements. And, like all his sloppy statements, Trump’s commentary on the issue was unnecessary.

Donald Trump is his own worst enemy.

The man is leading in key swing state polls against Joe Biden. Yet, his appeal is tenuous at best. Many independent voters across the country dislike him because of his style.

Rather than recognize this obvious fact and make adjustments—no matter how small—Trump continues bashing away. It’s a terrible campaign strategy in an election that will likely be decided along the periphery; by historically narrow margins.

The last thing Trump should want to do is to cast either the degenerate Hunter Biden or his father, President Biden, in a sympathetic light. These comments by Trump could do just that.

As the former president might have once tweeted, “TOTAL DISASTER!”
