Little Navy Joan Roberts has emerged as the biggest victim of her father, Hunter Biden’s effort to cover up his loose lifestyle. Under the settlement, Roberts will not be entitled to the Biden surname. Her mother, Lunden Roberts, filed a motion last December seeking to change her name.
That motion stated that “the child would benefit from carrying the Biden family name, just like her father and other family members” including First Lady Jill Biden and her grandfather President Joe Biden.
He asked the Arkansas District Court in Batesville, Ark., to reduce the $20,000 per month in child support last September citing a material change in his financial status. His payments reportedly will decrease to $5000 per month.
Hunter Biden Wins Bid to Conceal Finances
Roberts had planned to blow the doors to the Biden financial enterprise-wide open. Her attorney, Clint Lancaster, had planned to call Biden’s business partners including Devon Archer, Eric Schwerin, and others to the stand to testify about where his money had gone. The trial had been set for July 24.
Lancaster filed motions last month seeking to have Biden thrown in jail for contempt of court.
The reason for the settlement out of court with Hunter Biden coming out on top despite Roberts’ effort to throw the book at him has not been disclosed; however, speculation has suggested that Roberts was running out of money.
Roberts has received at least $750,000 from Hunter Biden since 2020; however, speculation suggested that she began running out of money due to lawyers’ fees and had to settle.
This let Hunter Biden evade financial scrutiny over the alleged $2 million he received as an advance for his memoir or the at least $200,000+ apiece he has received from Malibu and Soho art studios for his artwork.
Under the settlement Navy Joan Roberts will be able to pick Hunter Biden’s artworks and benefit from the proceeds of their sale. In some cases, the artwork has fetched upward of $500,000.
Hunter Biden Washes Hands of Daughter
This left Hunter Biden where he wanted to be. He now has hardly any obligation to his own daughter.
“After his encounter with her Roberts and the subsequent birth of his daughter, Hunter got back on the road to recovery. During this time, he met a South African filmmaker, Melissa Cohen, in L.A., whom he married six days later,” columnist Mary Katharine Ham wrote. “Their relationship has been the subject of soft-focus network profiles and produced another child, toddler Beau, born in 2020 and named for Hunter’s late brother. (That ABC story could use a correction on the paternity of Navy, which was disputed at the time of this friendly write-up.)
Ham continued: “Beau is mentioned along with every other Biden grandchild in the dedication of his grandmother, Jill Biden’s children’s book, as he should be. He has a stocking on the White House Christmas mantle. But his half-sister gets neither. Melissa said her husband Hunter ‘very much cares about his country and his family and his friends and his children,’ but the children part comes with an asterisk the size of a 4-year-old.”
Joe Biden similarly ignored Navy in May when he was asked about his grandchildren during a White House event at which he said he only had six grandchildren, ignoring his seventh grandchild, Navy.
“What absolute crap from a man whose entire existence has been propped up by nothing but the Biden name. He just doesn’t want to split the proceeds,” Ham wrote.
