Donald Trump Might Have a New Problem: His Wife, Melania Trump

Donald Trump has been married to Melania Trump (née Knauss) since 2005. Despite the former president’s alleged affair with adult film actress Stormy Daniels, the two seemed happy – but many a political family has put on a show for the cameras. Such could have been the case with Melania if the latest rumors were believed to be accurate.

Could Melania Trump Ditch The Don? – It isn’t uncommon for wealthy, powerful men to have been married more than once. In the case of former President Donald Trump, it could be suggested that the “third time was the charm” when he married his current wife Melania.

He was married to his first wife, Ivana Trump (née Zelníčková), for around 13 years from 1977 until 1990, while his second wife, Marla Ann Maples, lasted roughly six years.

Is Melania Trump Ready to Ditch Donald Trump?

As previously reported, Melania reportedly rejected multiple requests to appear alongside her husband at not only his appearances in multiple criminal cases, including those in New York and Florida, but she has been absent at campaign stops and other appearances.

In April, she skipped the former President’s indictment trip from Florida to New York and was not named among the people who traveled aboard the private plane.

Radar Online reported this week that the former First Lady has threatened to leave Donald Trump, but not because of infidelity or even his numerous indictments.

Rather, she seems to be a proud mother who seeks to protect her son Barron as the former president sought to drag the 17-year-old into his troubled reelection campaign. Such a move wouldn’t be good for Trump, to say the least, and could actually be quite bad for his reelection campaign.

“That would be devastating to Donald,” a source close to the Trump family told Radar Online. “With all the negative press swirling around him, the last thing he needs for his public image is another broken marriage.”

Barron – Campaign Prop!

The issue reportedly began after Donald Trump shared on social media a Photoshopped image of Barron at a podium, with the caption, “In an effort to level the playing field, Barron Trump will debate Joe Biden!”

The 53-year-old former first lady, who remains deeply protective of her only child, was said to be “seething with fury” over any use of Barron as a political pawn.

“Melania has been incredibly protective of Barron and has told Donald she would not stand for him to be exploited by anyone, even his father!” another source revealed. “He made a promise to protect their son — and he broke it. There’s a good chance she won’t forgive him, and the next time we see them together may be in divorce court.”

Standing By Donald Trump?

However, there are also reports that Melania is actually ready, willing, and able to stand by her man. It was reported earlier this month by PageSix that she is Donald Trump’s “secret weapon,” as she may be the only individual who can manage Trump’s stress easily, while she provides a peaceful life for him.

Of course, if Melania needs to choose between Donald Trump along with his desire to win at all costs, and protecting Barron, all bets are off.

Like any protective mother, she’ll do what needs to be done.
