Foreign Payments To The Biden Family Have Just Been Revealed – The House Oversight Committee, currently investigating President Joe Biden’s connection to his son’s foreign business dealings, has allegedly unearthed more than $20 million in payments to the Biden family from sources abroad.

The Biden Family: How Much Money Did They Get?

The payments were made from oligarchs in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, along with further payments from sources in China and Romania. Sent during Biden’s tenure as vice president, the income to the family and Hunter’s business associates were revealed through bank records obtained by the committee.

Last month, Hunter’s business associate Devon Archer testified that then-Vice President Biden joined approximately 20 phone calls on speakerphone during conversations with his son’s foreign business associates. He also attended dinners with oligarchs who made large scale payments to Hunter.

Payments were made to accounts connected to Archer under the Rosemont Seneca name, passed onto Hunter in increments in what Republicans believe to be an attempt to cover any trace of their existence.

What Were The Payments, And Who Made Them?

Records show Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina paid $3.5million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton in February 2014, with Archer receiving approximately $1million. The remainder were used to fund Rosemont Seneca Bohai, an account set up by Hunter and Archer to receive foreign transactions.

Following the lump sum, then-Vice President Biden attended dinner with the aforementioned individuals, along with others, at Cafe Milano in Washington, D.C. Further dinners also took place at the same restaurant across 2014 and 2015, with Burisma executives and Kenes Rakishev, a Kazakhstani oligarch, joining on some occasions.

Hunter had previously met Rakishev at the Hay Adams Hotel in the capital. Discussing the meeting with Archer, Rakishev, then-director at Kazakhstan’s state-owned oil company KazMunayGas, asked whether Secretary of State John Kerry could visit the country. “If we have some business started as planned, I will ensure its planned soonest,” Archer replied.

Two months later, in April 2014, Rakishev sent $142,300 to the Rosemont Seneca Bohai account; the following day, Hunter purchased a sports car for that exact amount. In June 2014, Archer and Hunter arranged for Burisma executives – a Ukrainian energy firm – to discuss a deal between Burisma, a Chinese state-owned company, and the government of Kazakhstan.

Earlier in Spring, Archer and Hunter had joined Burisma at a salary of $1million per year each. Following their first payment, made into the Rosemont Seneca Bohai account and distributed into Hunter’s bank accounts incrementally, then-Vice President Biden visited the country. In his testimony last week, Archer said Hunter’s value on the board of directors being due to “the brand,” later revealed to be his father.

How Did The House Oversight Committee Respond?

Committee chairman James Comer released a statement following the revelations. “During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine,” he said.

“It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered. This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son.”

“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States,” Comer concluded.
