Tucker Carlson Is Afraid Donald Trump Could Be Assassinated

While appearing on comedian Adam Carolla’s podcast earlier this week, Carlson shared his fear that Donald Trump would be assassinated.

Carlson Is Afraid Donald Trump Could Be Killed Assassinated: Tucker Carlson and Bill O’Reilly have a few things in common – each was a top-rated Fox News Channel prime-time host who could rile up an audience by stating the outrageous.

Each also left the network for new mediums.

O’Reilly has also written a series of books with the word “Killing” in the title, and perhaps Carlson is looking to get in on the action.

That would explain his latest theory that neither the Republican nor the Democratic establishment can accept that former President Donald Trump stands a chance of being reelected and returning to the Oval Office.

While appearing on comedian Adam Carolla’s podcast earlier this week, Carlson shared his fear that Donald Trump would be assassinated.

“Begin with criticism, then you go to protest, then you go to impeachment, now you go to indictment, and none of them work. I mean what’s next?” Carlson pondered, speculating that it would be a bullet if the ballot didn’t provide a favorable outcome. (Author’s note: Malcolm X reference, not Carlson’s).

“You know, graph it out man! We’re speeding toward assassination, obviously. No one will say that, but I don’t know how you can’t reach that conclusion,” Carlson told Carolla. “You know what it’s been like. They have decided—permanent Washington. Both parties have decided that there’s something about Trump that’s so threatening to them, they just can’t have it.”

Does Donald Trump Think He’s in Danger?

It was just last week that the former president opted not to attend the first GOP presidential debate in Milwaukee and instead took part in a pre-recorded sit-down with Carlson, which streamed as counter-programming on the social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter.

During the one-on-one interview, Carlson asked Trump directly if he thought he could be in the crosshairs, referencing the various congressional and criminal investigations into the former real estate mogul turned politician’s activities.

“Are you worried that they’re going to try and kill you? Why wouldn’t they try and kill you? Honestly,” Carlson asked Trump without acknowledging who this notional “they” might be.

“They’re savage animals; they’re people that are sick,” Trump responded.

Trump is currently facing 91 charges in four different criminal cases at both the state and federal level, as well as three civil suits. If convicted of any of the criminal indictments, he could serve serious jail time.

Inmate Killed at Georgia Jail

In a strange twist, an inmate was killed and two others injured following a stabbing spree on Thursday afternoon at the same Fulton County Jail where Donald Trump was booked.

The New York Post reported it would be the same facility where the former president could be housed if convicted in Georgia.

According to local news reports, the stabbings occurred during a gang-related incident. Including Thursday’s stabbing, nine inmates have died at the facility this year – with five deaths happening within the past month.
