The embattled First Son, Hunter Biden, continues his walk of shame—this time on the hallowed grounds of the White House, enjoying Easter Sunday with his 34-year-old wife, Melissa Cohen, their young daughter, and the president and first lady. The images of the sweet family reunion gloss over a more profound tension.
Like Richard Nixon in what became the final few years of his controversial presidency, the Bidens are ambling about, acting like all is well, when in fact, investigators are nibbling their way to the core that is the Biden Family’s extensive corruption.
Since a Delaware prosecutor opened an investigation into the dealings and taxes of Hunter Biden’s business in 2018, the First Son has increasingly fallen under scrutiny. It isn’t just that Hunter Biden is the son of a president which makes him a potential target in a highly partisan moment in our national politics.
Hunter Biden is actually corrupt.
What’s more, despite what President Joe Biden insists, there is enough circumstantial evidence to suggest a broader investigation into any illicit connections that may exist between Hunter’s schemes and his father.
Hutner Biden: Endless Investigations Will Yield a Result
Specifically, investigators are aware of a bevy of electronic data many argue proves that Hunter Biden had his hands in multiple corrupt schemes designed to trade access to his father’s various political positions in government with a large number of foreign governments—including those of Ukraine and China.
Whatever denials Hunter Biden has issued, the data indicates that there’s something to these allegations beyond mere partisanship (despite what social media censors would have you believe).
Hunter Biden has text messages between he and his daughter from his first marriage (as well as an assortment of other electronic unmentionables) stored on his “laptop from Hell” that was left in a Delaware computer repair store and eventually became the center of the current scandal surrounding the Biden Family. In one text chain with his daughter from 2019, Hunter laments that he was over “kicking back half of my earnings from lucrative board positions and his own firm’s legal work to [support Joe and Jill Biden.”
Hunter continued his lamentation by texting that, “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. But don’t worry, unlike Pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
The concerns about Hunter are only deepening, despite the vociferous denials that President Biden and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) have issued to the public since the story broke in late 2019. We now know that Hunter Biden sat on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate, earning over $83,333 per month for years. Burisma’s board also included former CIA Director of the Counterterrorism Center, Cofer Black, at the same time that Hunter was there.
More frighteningly, Hunter Biden conducted business deals worth millions of dollars with multiple Chinese state-owned firms—at least once traveling to a meeting in China aboard Air Force Two, when his father was serving as President Barack Obama’s vice-president.
It is clear – at least for me – that Hunter Biden was the cutout for a much larger business built on Joe Biden’s very long career in the US government. It seems like every major figure in the Biden Family was involved in the money-making scheme. The scandal now even includes Hunter Biden’s former sister-in-law-turned-onetime-lover, Hallie, who received a tranche of cash from Hunter Biden’s business partner by way of a Chinese state-owned energy firm. Gulp.
Richard Nixon’s Example
“Just keep it out of the White House, Bob,” was President Richard Nixon’s mantra to his chief of staff, Bob Haldeman, throughout the Watergate Scandal. Nixon and his team understood that they needed to stay insulated from whatever criminal behavior the so-called “Plumbers” had exposed them to with their late-night shenanigans at the Watergate that fateful summer evening in 1972.
The attempt to keep Richard Nixon out of the crosshairs of the congressional investigation into the matter failed because the scandal had far too much traction to simply be disappeared.
Yet, it is instructive for the current scandal slowly mounting at the Biden White House. Hunter Biden is on record as being upset that he was effectively the footman for his father; that he was forced to hand over chunks of his money to his other family members because his father, as the real source of his business, wanted to get his cut of the loot.
President Biden can do his best to maintain that everyone around him may be exposed to Hunter’s perfidy but not him—when everyone knows that Hunter Biden is not the beating heart of this influence peddling scheme.
How could Hunter be anything more than a foot soldier for his father? He’s never held elected office before to make him valuable. Hell, Hunter got canned from the Naval Academy for his inability to keep things together.
Trouble in Paradise
The photos from Easter Weekend with the Bidens betray a much darker scene. Hunter Biden is going down, as, in my opinion, there’s simply too much evidence and animus toward him from Joe Biden’s political enemies for him to survive these ongoing investigations.
The only question that remains is how insulated from Hunter Biden is Joe Biden and his wife?
Because the scandals stretch back years, and it will soon be nearly impossible to believably keep Biden away from this horrible scandal.
Either Hunter Biden will flip on his father when it becomes clear the investigations have him dead-to-rights or some bit of evidence will be revealed as part of the investigation linking Hunter’s schemes to his father’s finances, which will create a true constitutional crisis in the middle of what surely will be a contentious—possibly violent—presidential election in 2024.
