Why are they Hiding Joe Biden? Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary who spends more time refusing to engage with the White House Press Pool than answering their (usually) sycophantic, pedantic questions, is starting to feel the burn.
Even a gelded press corps, such as the sort that currently populates the White House, can only take so much abject humiliation before it goes from being perversely enjoyable to downright degrading.
President Joe Biden, you see, has been avoiding the press. Sure, he’s been spotted intermittently speaking in very controlled settings with the press in the last few months. Even when Biden takes shouted, off-the-cuff questions from the press, it is rarely that they ask him such contentious questions the way they did of former President Donald J. Trump—their great orange whale.
Certainly, none have behaved as grotesquely as CNN’s Jim Acosta did when infamously challenged former President Trump over claims the forty-fifth president had made while speaking live to the nation from the East Room of the White House.
Sleepy Joe Biden Hides
Nevertheless, Biden’s interactions with the press are carefully choreographed and scripted. And the majority of the White House Press Pool is fine with it because, of course, they are on his political team. So, for that group to not only begin publicly castigating the White House press secretary but to openly mock the White House’s press interaction—including Biden himself—is a big step.
It should tell you that something is amiss in the Biden Administration.
This might also mean that the forty-sixth president, irrespective of that which he and his supporters have intimated over the last several months in public, is not planning on running for reelection in 2024.
Acting as though he has already secured the GOP presidential nomination for 2024, former Donald Trump began posting on social media his belief that Biden was not, in fact, planning to run for reelection because “something is not right” about Biden, according to the forty-fifth president.
The world is in a bad place since Joe Biden became president. While the forty-sixth president could conveniently blame his hated predecessor, that would only work for a few years. At some point, the failures become yours as president the longer you remain at the top of the organization. Everyone knows it. Even Democrats, who will always stand by their man at the end of the day, are quietly acknowledging that Biden is not the one they’ve been waiting for.
Think about it: the world is teetering on the brink of a potential nuclear war with Russia over Ukraine. Tensions are bubbling up both in the Greater Middle East with Iran and China is on the march everywhere—especially against Taiwan. Venezuela might be getting ready to pick a fight with their oil-rich neighbor, Guyana!
Where in the World is Joe Biden (Does He Even Know)?
And where is Joe Biden?
He’s gone to Ireland in a bizarre attempt to unite all the political parties of Northern Ireland in what is obviously a cockamamie plot to wrestle Northern Ireland away from the British and to ensure that it is restored to the rest of Ireland.
For the record, this is an emotional and historically sensitive topic for both Ireland and Britain. What’s more, Britain is America’s strongest ally globally during a time when many allies are fleeing the Americans’ orbit in favor of China’s.
Why is Biden seeking to potentially mar that relationship with these unnecessary antics?
The White House Press Corps is correct in asserting that the Joe Biden handlers are hiding their boss. Just look at the way that the president behaved with super friendly Al Roker of NBC News. When asked a basic question: are you running again for president? Biden vamped, got lost in a verbal maze of his own making, and then meandered away awkwardly—all without ever answering the question and leaving many more, serious questions in his wake.
The Hunter Biden Probe Closes In
Beyond the concerns that Biden simply isn’t there mentally anymore and the White House is facing increasing difficulty containing his rotting brain, it could be that the Hunter Biden investigations have the forty-sixth president distracted.
It is increasingly obvious to all but the biggest Democratic Party shills that the First Son was the frontman for a major influence-peddling scheme aimed at enriching the entirety of the Biden Family—including the president—by trading access to Joe Biden’s various government positions in exchange for lots of money from foreign governments (including China) and mega-corporations.
The Republican-controlled House of Representatives is doggedly pursuing the various loose threads. Rep. James Comer (R-KY), who is leading the investigation into Hunter Biden’s nefarious activities, believes that he will get his man. And in getting Hunter, it is hoped that they can connect his schemes to the president.
In these investigations, once you open a part of the scab, all the puss comes out, so I’d expect the Republicans to make the connections at some point. Especially since the Republicans recently gained access to some of the Biden Family’s personal financial records.

Bottom line: the fact that the Biden Administration has so carefully shielded their boss from any serious media scrutiny has made even the most loyal press people apoplectic. It is hard enough covering for Biden on a good day. But try carrying water for a man who won’t even provide a bucket.
The White House is isolating Biden from the press because they likely know his responses will be far more incriminating either of the true nature of his health decline and/or of the actual relationship he had with his son’s illicit schemes.
There’s no greater disinfectant than sunlight. That light—even if it is the dimly lit bulbs of the White House Press Corps—could be the final act of Biden’s thus far pathetic (non) reelection bid. That’s why he’s being hidden.
