Hunter Biden Told He Must Reveal Full Finances to Court – After appearing before an Arkansas court on Monday, Hunter Biden was told he must appear for a sworn deposition and answer questions related to his financial situation, his investment, and the sale of his artworks. Arkansas Independence County Court Judge Holly Meyer judge ordered the president’s son to provide more information about his finances as part of an ongoing paternity case.

What Hunter Biden Must Do

Appearing in court for the first time since the case was brought against him by a former lover with whom he fathered a child, Biden’s lawyer Abbe Lowell said that his client is currently paying $20,000 per month in child support for his daughter, Navy Joan Roberts

Judge Meyer also ordered the president’s son’s lawyers to stop hiding information that should be public, ordering the attorneys to re-submit their filings without redactions that hide Biden’s business dealings and wealth.

“The ability to redact is being somewhat abused,” Judge Meyer told Biden and his lawyers. The president’s controversial son may have plenty to hide, too. In March, House Republicans announced that President Joe Biden and a number of his relatives – including his son, Hunter – received a combined $1.3 million from a business associate who had deep ties to China. House Oversight and Accountability Chairman Rep. James Comer said at the time that it was “unclear what services were provided to obtain this exorbitant amount of money.”

The cash was paid out to the Biden family after Biden family business associate Rob Walker first received a wire for $2 million from a Chinese company.

Is Hunter Hiding Something?

Biden’s reluctance to reveal the full extent of his business dealings may not only be motivated by his lawyers’ efforts to reduce his child support payments to former lover Lunden Roberts, but also the fact that House Republicans are rapidly finding more shady business deals made during his father’s time as vice president. Roberts continues to fight in the courts for many of the same financial documents that House Republicans are battling to obtain on their own.

The judge gave Biden until May 12 to provide information and written answers requested by the court on Monday. A deposition will then take place in June, where he will be required to answer questions about his finances under oath.

If both parties are unable to agree about how much he should pay, the case will head to trial sometime in July.
