One of the greatest fictions of our time is that justice in America is blind. There are, in fact, two justice systems: one for the well-connected and one for the rest of us. The Joe Biden presidency proves this.
The egregious attempt by the Joe Biden-led, Democratic Party-friendly Department of Justice (DOJ) to give a blanket, sweetheart plea deal to the First Son, Hunter Biden, is an obvious example of this.
Under no other circumstance, involving someone other than a Democratic president’s kin, would such a sweetheart deal have been proffered by the conviction rating-crazed federal prosecutors of the DOJ.
The likeliest reason that the DOJ attorneys even offered the deal was less because they love Joe Biden and pity his drug-and-sex-addicted son (I’m sure, on some level, they do).
The reason is likely because the institutions that populate America’s overpriced and overcrowded nation’s capital fear what happens to them if the Republicans—specifically either former President Donald J. Trump or Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis, both of whom have outlined plans to diminish the power of these bureaucracies—take power again in 2024.
Deep State’s Gonna Deep State
This is about preserving the Administrative State’s power, funding, and standing in the United States today. The Republicans threaten the interlocking bureaucracies of Washington, D.C. and now those institutions are abandoning any pretense of democratic norms and striving to prevent any incriminating evidence that might undermine President Biden’s reelection bid.
That’s the real reason why Hunter Biden was offered a deal that basically provided cover for his absurd criminality.
Nor is this the first time that the First Son was protected by elements of our Byzantine bureaucracy.
Understanding Trump’s First Impeachment Scandal
Remember, former President Donald J. Trump had a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart in 2019, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in which he sought greater information about the extent and nature of Hunter Biden’s bizarre business dealings in Ukraine when he was brought onto the board of the Ukrainian energy giant, Burisma.
That phone call was leaked to the Democrats in Congress as well as the press by members of the Administrative State who were threatened by the forty-fifth president’s probing questions because everyone on the phone call knew that the Biden Family was guilty as sin.
According to the head of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, “It cost 5 [million dollars] to pay one Biden, and 5 [million] to another Biden.”
Zlochevsky apparently made a series of recordings of his dealings not only with Hunter Biden but also Joe Biden, for insurance purposes. Earlier this summer, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-NE) accused the FBI of having covered up from Congress the extent of Zlochevsky’s recordings for ambiguous national security concerns.
Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged perfidy, as led by Rep. James Comer (R-KY), has determined by probing the Biden Family’s finances, that Hunter Biden received $10 million.
So, if Zlochevsky’s claims are true—that it cost $5 million per Biden, and Hunter walked away with as much as $10 million from his experience in Ukraine, one can assume that he was not only making money for himself but for another Biden Family member.
Given the existence of multiple recordings (in DOJ custody) of phone calls that Zlochevsky had made between himself and then-Vice-President Joe Biden, it is likely that Joe Biden was the recipient of that other $5 million from Burisma.
So, when then-President Trump was explicitly demanding information about Hunter Biden’s schemes in Ukraine from Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, it was obvious what was at play. Trump’s problem, as always, was that he was far too ham-fisted in his attempts to get to the bottom of the corruption – so he could use it as a campaign attack on Biden in 2020.
Trump heavily implied that he was going to tether lethal military aid that Ukraine needed to defend itself from Russia to Zelenskyy giving Trump’s representatives the information they sought implicating the Biden Family in a pernicious, illicit influence-peddling operation in Ukraine.
The tying of lethal military aid that Congress had already authorized to the digging up of dirt on Trump’s political opponent was the cause of Trump’s first impeachment.
But it’s patently obvious that the highly-placed, unelected career bureaucrats of the Administrative State who had infested the Trump White House, and were on the presidential call when Trump made his mafia-like offer to Zelenskyy to hand over dirt on the Bidens, leaked the contents of that phone call to Congress knowing full well that the impeachment-crazed Democrats would happily strike at Trump.
Especially if Trump was doggedly pursuing information that could destroy who many on the Left assumed would be the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in 2020, Joe Biden!
A Letter of Lies
Then, for good measure, the Administrative State strove to totally limit information about Hunter Biden’s cartoonish levels of global corruption by having 51 top former intelligence officials – most of whom remain engaged in the intelligence community – put their names to a letter that was written by the 2020 Biden Campaign castigating the Hunter Biden laptop scandal as little more than “Russian disinformation.”
With that letter in hand, signed by such prestigious members of the intelligence community, the Biden Campaign was able to pressure social media and press outlets into downplaying or downright censoring any public information about Hunter Biden and his alleged ties to Joe Biden.
Thanks to that coverup, the Administrative State ensured that Trump could not use the dynamite information about the Biden Family’s legendary corruption against Joe Biden in the presidential election.
Many voters who supported Biden in 2020 have stated in polls that, had they known about the extent of the Biden Family corruption – which would have come out if the information wasn’t censored – during the 2020 campaign, they’d have voted for Trump instead.
Protecting Hunter Biden with a Plea Deal
Today, the same elements that were weaponized to weaken Trump in the 2020 Campaign and empower Joe Biden are again acting to prevent the Hunter Biden corruption from coming out into the open.
Because, if they lifted their hands off the scales of justice, Hunter Biden’s absurd levels of corruption would be outed to the public, the voters would be disgusted, and they’d likely not vote for Biden’s reelection.
Plus, it is probable that the House GOP would have enough information to successfully impeach President Biden, which would further complicate the ability of the Administrative State to preserve its own interests by preventing the rise of another anti-corruption Republican presidency in 2024.
That’s the real reason behind DOJ’s sweetheart deal with Hunter.
They’re trying to cover up as much of the truth as possible by playing keep-away from House Republican investigators.
A Heroic Judge
But the best-laid plans rarely survive first contact with the enemy.
The DOJ prosecutors were not anticipating the presiding judge to have a big problem with the obvious irregularity—and unfairness—of the plea deal that was offered to Hunter Biden. The judge refused to accept the plea deal without greater written explanations from both sides in the case for why the judge should accept such a sweetheart deal in her courtroom.
Knowing that any greater explanation would only deepen his legal woes, Hunter Biden has been forced to flip his plea in the tax evasion and illegal gun possession case to “not guilty” because the deal is no longer on the table from the DOJ because of the judge’s unwanted interference.
Hunter is now twisting in the wind. His father, President Biden, is now exposed. This is, therefore, the beginning of the true legal crisis that President Biden faces. The 2024 election, if the Democrats truly nominate Biden as their nominee, and should Trump become the Republican nominee, will simply be a race to the bottom, as the two candidates are smothered in increasing legal scandals.
Pray for our country.
