Donald Trump Might Have a New ‘Problem’: His Wife Melania Trump

Insiders who know the world of Trumpland are reporting all is not well between Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump – at least when it comes to his plans to keep running for the White House for a third time.

Insiders who know the world of Trumpland are reporting all is not well between Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump – at least when it comes to his plans to keep running for the White House for a third time.

In fact, several sources who are close to Donald Trump from his New York City real estate days told 19FortyFive in recent days she “plans to stay as far away from the 2024 Presidental race as possible.”

And that fact is creating worry in GOP circles in that Democrats will now accuse Donald Trump of not having the support of his wife, something that we found in some recent digging is not exactly true.

The simple fact is Melania has been worn down from DC politics and can’t stand the drama of it all anymore, at least that is my sense of it, again, talking to sources close to Donald Trump.

Melania Trump Wants Her Own Live Now

Recent reporting in the Irish Times seems to back up these sources claims, noting that, “[c]loistered behind the gates of her three homes, she sticks to a small circle – her son, her elderly parents and a handful of old friends. She visits her hairdressers, consults with Hervé Pierre, her long-time stylist, and sometimes meets her husband for Friday night dinner at their clubs. But her most ardent pursuit is a personal campaign: helping her son, Barron (17), with his college search. What she has not done, despite invitations from her husband, is appear on the campaign trail. Nor has she been at his side for any of his court appearances.”

The piece continues on:

“These are the days of Melania Trump, former first lady, current campaign spouse and wife to one of the most divisive figures in American public life. Unlike her predecessors, there are no plans for a speaking tour, a book or a major expansion of her charitable efforts, most of which, people close to the Trumps say, are not fully visible to the public. In her post-presidential life, she wants what she could not get in the White House: a sense of privacy.

Those efforts to retreat from public life have been complicated by her husband, who has turned her once again into a candidate’s spouse. As Donald Trump faces a possible third indictment, she has remained steadfastly silent about his increasing legal peril.”

Would She Come Out on the Campaign Trail?

Sources we spoke to in Trumpland do think eventually Melania will come out on the campaign trail, but when she is good and ready – if she can ensure her mental and emotional health are secure.

“Melania is a deeply private person, and she was out of her comfort zone as first lady,” explained one source who has known Trump for over a decade. “She does not like politics that much, and wants to have her own life and not be so sucked into the DC swamp and all of its problems and knife fights. What she seeks is a good quality of life for herself and her family. If Donald Trump wants to run for office again, fine. But she does not want to feel hurt again, seeing what has occurred in the last few years and the wars he has waged to protect his reputation.”

When I asked the sources if she supports her husband and his battle to clear his name from all of his legal troubles the source said “[O]f course”. They did note that “[S]he will always back the president, but she feels she has to also ensure she is in a good place emotionally and from a mental health perspective. So she needs to have some space to achieve that.”
