Donald Trump Isn’t Above the Law

Donald Trump isn’t above the law – a point agreed to by most Americans – but he also hasn’t had his day in court. We should listen to the evidence, but unfortunately, it seems for too many Americans, their mind is already made up.

Donald Trump Indicted – A Dark Day in American History: There are specific dates that “live in infamy.” These include December 7, 9/11, and January 6, of course, and for true American patriots, March 30 should now join the list. Today former President Donald Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury for his team’s efforts to pay “hush money” to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to conceal an alleged affair.

Regardless of which side of the issue you’re on, this remains a dark day that will only serve to further divide Americans.

Plenty of Republicans have been quick to come to the former president’s defense – suggesting it is just an attempt to ensure Trump can’t run for office again.

Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, who is expected to challenge Trump for the GOP nomination for president next year, was among those who blasted the Trump indictment as a “weaponization” of our legal system.

In a tweet, DeSantis (@GovRonDeSantis) stated, “The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent.  Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.”

DeSantis was hardly alone in showing support for Trump following the indictment – yet, a question could of course be asked whether the former president would be as quick to support DeSantis, or even if the Florida governor is simply paying lip service to perhaps court Trump’s base should his archrival be taken out of the race. Within minutes of the tweet being sent out, it had nearly 700,000 views and was liked 25,000 times.

Democratic Reactions

Perhaps on cue, some of Trump’s harshest Democrat critics praised the indictment.

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., the top Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee and a vocal opponent to Donald Trump when he was in office, reacted with glee that was unbecoming of her position in Congress, writing on Twitter, “SO Trump finally got indicted! I predicted he would and I predicted that Stormy Daniels would get him! Sometimes justice works! #TrumpIndictment.”

Other Democrats were equally quick to pass judgment.

“The indictment of former president Donald J. Trump by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office over his alleged participation in a campaign fraud and hush money scheme that already sent his former attorney Michael Cohen to jail is a sobering and unprecedented development,” Rep. Schiff of said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “But if justice demanded that Michael Cohen go to jail for a scheme directed by someone else, justice also requires that the person responsible for directing the scheme must answer for their offenses against the law — and that person is Donald Trump.”

Unexpected Reaction

However, Schiff’s colleague Rep. Eric Swalwell, also of California, offered a response that all Americans should heed.

“The indictment of a former president is a somber day for America. It’s also a time to put faith in our judicial system. Donald Trump deserves every protection provided to him by the Constitution. As that unfolds, let us neither celebrate nor destroy. Justice benefits us all,” Swalwell (@RepSwalwell) tweeted.

Truer words were never spoken or in this case, tweeted.

Now is not the time to cheer; now is not the time to suggest this is a travesty of justice. Now is the time to mourn that a former president of the United States has been indicted but also to take comfort in the fact that it also reminds us that no one – even a former president – is above the law.

This Will Only Divide Us

However, the saddest part is that like the election, and moreover, like most recent presidential elections, one side is going to be happy with the eventual outcome and the other will be left bitterly disappointed. And the outcome of the expected trial will fail to please everyone, and it almost certainly will fail to bring us together as a nation.

There is no easy solution or answer.

Trump isn’t above the law – a point agreed to by most Americans – but he also hasn’t had his day in court. We should listen to the evidence, but unfortunately, it seems for too many Americans, their mind is already made up.

Are you saying porky is likely to be convicted? Well, the good news is that there are plenty of other indictments on the way.

Donald Trump will quickly lose his freedom in a matter of days as pro-biden prosecutors are seen as hellbent on charging him over hush money ‘business’ expenses.

Biden will be clucking & droolin’ over his rival’s predicament as attention naturally gets swayed away from the first family’s own criminal enterprise business.

Is that representative of the ‘greatness of democracy in america’ artificially brewed hashish spewed by biden, or is it representative of the spin-doctor wokeism (latest fascistic religion) of USA democrat party.

Hard to tell. Could well be a mixture of both or a mashed puree of both denominations.

If they can do this to a former President, imagine what they can/will do to you. Remember Obama advocated for a domestic army? 87,000 armed IRS agents? Taxes will increase, and that big sucking sound you’re hearing is your retirement and income going down the drain of Bidenflation.

The day the world has been waiting for celebrations are sure to follow. 30 counts in this indictment and we still have stealing classified documents, Georgia attempted election interference, and the big one, inciting insurrection.

Then there’s the E. Jean Carroll suit in which she has the DNA from her soiled clothing, but Trump refuses to give his DNA. Strange that he refuse to provide evidence if it was exculpatory? His problems will continue until he’s dead.

Time for some entity, state or municipal, to indict Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Let loose the dogs of war.

God bless people in the world.

What the Democratic-Republicans are doing to Tiltok now, like Senator Joseph Raymond McCarthy, is wrong.

The Democratic and Republican parties should tell people that atheism is the enemy, and that the CCP restrict the freedom of speech in America with Tiktok and change the United States to be a socialism country like the CCP. Democratic-Republican Party should even say that each of us should obey Ten Commandments and protect the freedom of other people.

So judge should confess sin and repent to God, Judge should be under God and make people in America obey the law of God, Ten Commandments.

    God bless America.

I never would have thought that an indictment of a former president would have materialized over past relations with a strange woman, Stormy Daniels. If that is even really the case.

Recall Elizabeth Ray a central figure in a much-publicized sex scandal in 1976 that ended the career of U.S. Rep. Wayne Hays. I remember the saying “And so, my fellow American, ask not what you can do for your cunt Ray – ask what your cunt Ray can do for you.” Hays ended up resigning in shame from Congress after the much-publicized sex scandal.

Fast forward to Donald J. Trump and the years of political weaponization by the American justice system. The numerous “witch hunts” waged against him by certain Democrats wishing that they could somehow prosecute him. Yes they finally got their wish, and with some thirty additional charges pending. Let’s say after some “stormy witch’s cunt”. The bigger question becomes, can the DA stick it or is he impotent?

Democrats,be careful what you wish for!

“Trump isn’t above the law – a point agreed to by most Americans – but he also hasn’t had his day in court.”

Trump had two impeachments. Those could qualify as two days in court.

Hillary and Biden get a pass. Some equal protection under the law.
