What could happen next?

We know one thing is clear: social media will provide a lot of cluse.

Amazing Footage Shows Final Moments Of Russian Infantry Fighting Vehicle: An incredible video shared on social media shows the final moments of a Russian infantry fighting vehicle targeted by a Ukrainian suicide drone.

The video footage – recorded from the drone itself back at the end of February – shows the last few seconds before it strikes the Russian vehicle

The strike reportedly occurred somewhere in Donetsk Oblast.

What We Know

According to Ukraine Weapons Tracker, a popular war-tracking Twitter account, the video shows an improvised Ukrainian loitering munition.

It means that the drone, which looks to be a rotary-blade drone, has been fitted with additional equipment to turn it into a kamikaze-style UAV

The video, backed by dramatic music, shows the drone scanning its surroundings and preparing to strike the Russian fighting vehicle.

Seconds later, the drone begins its descent and the video cuts out as it strikes the vehicle. Additional footage, included at the end of the video, shows the drone striking the reat of the vehicle.

The strike appears to have caused serious damage to the vehicle, though no additional footage or photographs of the damage caused by the strike were shared.

#Ukraine: In #Donetsk Oblast, a Russian BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle was destroyed by a improvised FPV loitering munition,” Ukraine Weapons Tracker writes.

More Fighting Vehicles Destroyed In Donetsk

A series of photographs also shared online shows how a number of Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles were completely destroyed by Ukrainian strikes close to Marinka in Donetsk Oblast.

Aerial photographs show a BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle destroyed by Ukrainian fire, despite its upgraded armor kit.

“A Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle with an addon armor kit was destroyed by the Ukrainian army during an attack on Pobjeda near Marinka, #Donetsk Oblast,” Ukraine Weapons Tracker wrote in a post that accompanied the photograph.

In a video also shared by Ukraine Weapons Tracker, a Russian BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicle is seen being destroyed by another Ukrainian strike.

This time, the strike took place close to Pobieda in  Donetsk Oblast toward the end of February.

The Russian vehicle is stationary and parked in a hedgerow between two agricultural fields.

Moments into the video, the vehicle abruptly explodes, creating a large flash of fire and large plumes of white smoke.

“The Ukrainian 79th Air Assault Brigade took out a modernised Russian BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicle in the vicinity of Pobieda, #Donetsk Oblast,” Ukraine Weapons  Tracker writes.
