Is Joe Biden the Democratic Party’s ‘Zombie’ Candidate?

President Joe Biden is an enduring embarrassment both for the country he purports to lead as well as for the Democratic Party.

President Joe Biden is an enduring embarrassment both for the country he purports to lead as well as for the Democratic Party.

Christian pastor John MacArthur claims Biden is such a bad president that he must be God’s retribution on America.

Meanwhile, prominent Democrats are starting to question the wisdom of basically coronating such a compromised president. There’s still plenty of time for the Democrats to highlight some of their upcoming talent (such as it is).

A recent CNN opinion poll says that as many as 75 percent of all likely Democratic Party voters in 2024 would prefer someone other than Joe Biden to be their nominee.

Right now, though, Joe Biden is the only serious contender – since few Democrat powerbrokers support Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s challenge to Biden and none are behind Marianne Williamson’s bid to become the next Democratic Party presidential nominee.

That’s because the moneyed interests in Wall Street, Hollywood, and Silicon Valley that are the true backbone of the Democratic Party today refuse to consider anyone other than the octogenarian who made a mockery of the devastating Maui wildfires, in which more than 100 people have been killed and more than 1,000—mostly children—are still missing.

Democrats Used to Nominate Great People

Whatever one’s opinion of the Democratic Party, the fact is that they have produced some of America’s most memorable presidents. Men like Andrew Jackson, James Polk, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Harry Truman, and JFK are all memorable presidents who are known for their crisis management skills.

With the exception of Wilson and FDR, none of the Democrats I listed wanted to fundamentally transform the United States into something that it wasn’t. They loved America. And the American people throughout history have identified their legacies as something worthy of respect.

Joe Biden exists at the other end of the spectrum of notable Democratic Party presidents. If future historians are being fair, Biden will forever be lumped in with the failed presidencies of Democrats, like James Buchanan (who lost the Union in the run-up to the Civil War) and Jimmy Carter (whose single term in office was marred by such a bad economy they created the “misery index” to track the failing economy and ended in a terrifying hostage crisis in Iran and a botched rescue mission of those hostages).

Modern Democratic Party voters intuitively understand this.

Joe Biden Is Not Great

The party that venerates great orators, such as JFK and Barack Obama, has elected a man to office who makes former Republican President George W. Bush look like a model public speaker. Meanwhile, Biden continues to abandon the promises that kept the bulk of the Democratic Party’s far-left base onboard his sclerotic campaign in 2020.

He’s abandoned things like student loan forgiveness (if not in principle, then at least in practice). Biden has reversed his party’s decades-long aversion to war by essentially courting nuclear conflict with Russia over Ukraine.

Yet, the Democratic Party’s power elite continue backing his candidacy, despite all the downsides. That’s because they fear that the only other candidate, RFK, Jr., who could possibly win a Democratic Party primary and still win a General Election, is not in hock to the power elite that control the Democratic Party.

In fact, Joe Biden’s advanced age and his likely compromised status—both due to age and the possibility that his entire family is involved in a decades-old international influence-peddling scheme—makes him a prime candidate for the support of the Democratic Party elite.

Because Biden is basically bought and paid for and, thanks to his obvious age-related cognitive decline, he is a supple and malleable man in the Oval Office. Surrounded by the most partisan advisors possible, with no direct control over his own administration (let alone his faculties), Biden is just who the elite powerbrokers need to rubber-stamp the most egregious aspects of their plans for America and the world.

Democrat Voters are Getting Joe Biden, No Matter What

So, irrespective of what a whopping 75 percent of Democratic Party voters desire, Joe Biden will be their zombie nominee in 2024. The reason that the power elite of the DNC doesn’t listen to their own voters is because they understand that, no matter what, their voters will still turn out for whoever is the Democratic Party nominee.

Come to think of it, if the GOP is short-sighted enough to nominate former President Donald J. Trump as their nominee in 2024, then the DNC power elite knows that many of those 75 percent of Democrats opposed to Joe Biden’s reelection campaign will come out to vote for Biden out of sheer spite toward Trump.

Joe Biden will be their nominee in 2024, no matter what.
