Canik TP9SFx 9mm – A Two-Minute Review: I’m not one to enthusiastically recommend budget guns too much. I think a lot of the time you miss out on long-term functionality and reliability in general with cheap guns.

This is not the case with the Canik TP9SFx 9mm. This was designed as a race gun. Shoot accurately and shoot fast with this excellent pistol. You’ll find that this Canik is ready for a competition right off the rack.

I’m not much of a competition shooter, but I got plenty of use out of the Canik TP9SFx as a range toy and wintertime concealed carry pistol. If you want to know more about this surprisingly good pistol, keep on reading.

The Canik TP9SFx has a great look to it. You can definitely see the “race gun” DNA coded in its design. It’s pretty big with a long grip and a long slide. That long grip houses an 18+1 magazine that makes you feel like you’ll never run out of ammunition. And the long slide/barrel help you have better accuracy and velocity as well as mitigate recoil to an extent.

One thing I want to make a special mention about is the trigger. It’s incredible for this price point. It has an extremely short take-up, solid wall, crisp break, and an equally short and crisp reset.

Since it’s a race gun, you already know it needs to be accurate and sure enough, it is. I’m not saying it’s going to make you a better shot, but you’ll be able to hit targets exactly to the extent of your abilities. I haven’t been able to shoot better than what my pistol is capable of and I’m guessing most other people aren’t more accurate than their firearm.

It’s an exceptionally smooth gun and doesn’t at all have those classic budget gun traits. There isn’t any grittiness and it’s extremely reliable.

I only had one malfunction overall, but that was in the early rounds of the break-in period so I’m not going to hold that against the TP9SFx. It’s been smooth as butter ever since.

You might be asking yourself the practical applications of a pistol this size. My main recommendations are for concealed carry, open carry, and as a range toy. This is all outside of a race gun of course. Its use as a concealed carry weapon is debatable since it’s a decently big pistol . If you try really hard or wear winter/autumn clothing you can conceal it.

The Canik TP9SFx made me interested in shooting competitions and made it accessible to nearly everyone. It has basically anything you could want out of a full sized race gun. Not as a budget race gun, but as something truly formidable that won’t hurt your wallet the way a CZ Shadow 2 would.

It’s only $550- $650, and these things get sold in private sales all the time so you can find them for some crazy low prices.

In 2013 The MOD signed a £9-million-pound contract to provide the Armed Forces with more than 25,000 new Glock side arms.
The Glock 17 Generation 4 pistol is not only much lighter than the Browning L9A1 pistol previously used by the UK military, it is also more accurate and its magazine holds 17 (9mm ) rounds compared to 13 rounds for the Browning.
